"Smile Hallelujah!" Her mother chimed in a high pitch voice. Her mother, 2 months pregnant was always baby talking now. Hallelujah didn't smiled but looked at the camera as the familiar flash went off.

"Why didn't you smile Holly?" Her mom asked in a sweet voice. "Because I don't wanna be a dumb old witch! I wanna be me!" Hallelujah yelled, grumbling. She then stormed up the stairs into her room and slammed the door.
Her mom went upstairs, and after a lot of effort, got Hallelujah out of her room. Going Trick or Treating was fun. When they finally got home, Hallelujah ran up to her room. She threw her bag of candy onto the floor and went to sleep.
The next day at school, she met a girl named Luna. Luna was a small girl, very weak and she had just moved here. The teacher said that Luna had lots of illnesses so she was in and out of hospitals. Hallelujah felt bad and invited Luna to sit next to her in class.
At lunch the girls sat together. It was a Friday, so Hallelujah gave Luna her phone number so she could call her over the weekend.
Little Hallelujah sat by that phone all day Saturday. It didn't ever ring. She sat by the phone on Sunday, it didn't ever ring. When she went to school the next day, Luna wasn't there. She shrugged and figured that Luna was just sick in the hospital.
