Nicole, you stood me up. I waited for you at the library but you never turned up. Even the library woman told me to leave because the latest official school hours are over and I should be going home.
Now I sit in my room, trying to figure out why you didn’t turn up. You aren’t answering any of the messages that I’ve sent you either and yes I do have your number.
It’s crazy to think that it’s taken you a whole year to finally notice me. When all this time, I was only two metres [or even one] away from you.
In all honesty, I wouldn’t blame you for bailing out. I’m not the coolest guy in school. Nor am I the kind of guy you would date. It doesn’t matter. As long as you know of my existence, that is what matters to me.
But I couldn’t help but think of why you were upset. You’re usually so happy, chirpy and loud. Today you were quitter than usual.
I would go over to your house and ask you what’s wrong but you only noticed me today and I don’t want to make things awkward between us when they’ve only just started.
I hope you’re okay Nicole. I hope you are.
