My crush tries to kill me on my birthday

The next few nights up to the night the night before my birthday,I've had the same kind of dream with battle scenes and some of them with me fighting along side the mages.But the dream I had the night before my birthday was different.Everything was dark and I can only see myself in that dark place. "where am I?"

Out of nowhere a figure started to take shape in front of me.I took a step back. The figure fully materialised into a person wearing a grey cloak with its hood down. It covered his face with a bit of his white hair poking out. "Your time of safety is almost up young adam." the hooded man said.

"what do you mean by that?". The man turned around and started walking away but before he was out sight he said "you'll meet with my apprentice tomorrow and she'll try to keep you safe as best as she can until you are ready"

I woke up normally and sat up on my bed "Who was he? Why do feel like I've seen him before." while pondering that question he got ready for and went to the kitchen.This time his mom was there."Hey happy birthday adam" she said with a smile. "Oh yeah,thanks mom.I kinda forgot" I replied while laughing sarcastically.What I was saying in my mind was "Oh who am I kidding, thanks to all those stinking dreams this past few days I can't even remember when I was born"

After a light breakfast my mom made, I went to school. Thank my lucky stars I was early this time for school.After the bell rang, I made my way to class but what that man said back in my dream "you'll meet my apprentice tomorrow" what did he mean by that? well I really couldn't care because as I entered class I saw my crush,Emilia Holland, sitting at her desk while talking to other people. With long blonde hair and a necklace with a cross on it. I'm surprised she doesn't have a boyfriend yet,not that I'm complaining.

Sitting at my desk and taking out my homework that I miraculously finished, One of my friends,Fred,asks if he could borrow my homework and even bargained free lunch for it.who could refuse.

During recess, I chose to walk around school when I heard Emilia called my name. "Hey, adam!" .I turned around and saw her smiling. "Oh hey Emilia" I replied trying not to have a nose bleed. "Adam, Can I meet you in the classroom after school today alone?". I said okay and she ran of blushing.

"This is one of the reasons why I love coming to this school" I thought to myself .The bell rang.I walked back to class,waiting patiently for school to end.

After a long wait.It was finally time.The school bell rang and everyone was on the way home. I just stood up and told emilia that I'll be right back."Okay" she said with a smile. I went to a vending machine and bought A can of Iced coffee and drank it all before going back to class. While drinking the coffee I thought I saw someone on the outside of school but it disappeared instantly. "well that was strange" I said aloud and continued walking to my classroom

For the record,our class was on the second floor. So the location was good for a confession. "wait a minute, is she gonna confess to me?" I thought for a second. I stood in front of the door to class taking a deep breath and walked inside.Emilia was standing on the other side of the class facing the window."Hey I'm back emilia.So what do you want with me?" I said while shutting the door.

"There something I want you to know..." she said as she turned around slowly. My heartbeat quicken suddenly. In my mind I kept praying that this was a confession until she finished that sentence which was "You are gonna die adam wicker, right now by my hand" she sounded as cold as death.

Everything happened so fast after that.I felt pain flowing through my body. A knife had been embedded into my stomach by Emilia who moved at an incredible speed.I fell to the ground clutching my stomach.Emilia grabbed my collar shirt and dragged me to an open window in the hallway and right before she tossed me out, she removed the knife and said "goodbye adam wicker. May you burn in the depths of hell as you have sinned for being on their side" She said without emotion whatsoever and tossed me out of the window and I fell.

It should only be a few seconds before I hit the ground.The last thing that came to mind was the voice of the girl he met a few days ago at the school gate.At that instant, something caught me in midair and put me on the ground.I opened my eyes the thing that caught me was a rotting corpse. Not kidding, with a face that looked like a decaying zombie it was wearing a knights armour with a sword at the side.It put me down, took out the sword went into the school building with two other armoured corpses appeared right beside it and followed.

I was about to pass out and the last thing I see was a girl running towards me saying "what kind of an idiot are you?"
