Review: Naruto Shippuden is one of them animes that really know how to toy with your emotions, and not entirely in a good way. To be honest, I had a love/hate relationship with the series. As it approached to the end, it was more hate than love.

There was a bunch of plot holes, a ton of undeniable glitches, and any viewer would've easily noticed it was rushed towards the end. The series shouldn't have been 500 episodes, 200 episode would've sufficed. However, Kishimoto decided to bombarde the show with filler up episodes (Episodes that aren't canon). Personally, I never minded the filler ups when it was explaining someones backstory, important past events and how people met each other. But these filler ups were so random while having the audacity to not even be funny, and it was blatantly obvious that it was made to simply elongate the arc.

Despite the shows obvious fails, it does make up for it with it's great storyline, amazing character development and a bunch of the best anime moments in history. One thing I loved about Naruto Shippuden, was it's wide range of characters. If you didn't like the main character you had a bunch of other characters to root for. Also, it had some outstanding villains, that weren't cliché.

The soundtrack is amazing. There's a bunch of legendary songs also. The op's we're also great. The fourth OP was my favourite (Because I adore Shikamaru).

The animation was great too, keeping in mind the year it was made. However, there was times especially during the fights when the animation was so bad and everyone would simply just drastically deform.

If you like animes that are story driven, have some crazy plot twists, action packed but still manage to give you the feels, and bad. This is the anime for you.
