Part 1

Jennifer's POV
I can't wait to start shooting American Idol, I've seen it on TV for so long and it kind of seems fun. But I really can't wait to see the other judges, I've heard that they're nice but people have different opinions. But right now I have to go see Alex.
*open texts*
A: Hey baby!❤️
J: Hey!💘
A: You coming over?😏
J: 😂 yes but not like that baby, not today
A: aww😔😂
J: I love you😘❤️
A: I love you too baby😘💖
*close texts*
I get to his house.
"Hey baby," he says as he's lying down on the couch.
"Alex, not today," I said.
"Then why'd you come over?" Alex asked.
"Baby to talk to you," I said.
"About what?" Alex asked.
"About Tashi and Ella," I said.
"What about them?" Alex replied.
"They're worried about you," is said.
"Why?" He asked.
"They said they think you might be doing drugs again," I said.
"Baby that was like 10+ years ago," he said, "I've changed."
"Hmm.." I responded.
"Wait, do you not believe me?" Alex asked, "I was 15 and was put under so much pressure because I was in the major leagues, I've become a better person. I've reignited a good relationship with my kids, I have a steady lifestyle, I found the love of my life."
"Aww baby," I blush, then kissed him, "I gotta get to American Idol to meet my co-judges bye baby."
"Bye!" Alex responded as he blew me a kiss.
I'm now on my way to the set of American Idol feeling happy because this whole thing with Alex was solved.
Alex's POV
I couldn't give Jen even the slightest hint I went back to drugs because she was from Castle Hill and she don't play.
I went to the medicine cabinet and grabbed the steroids. I took a bunch at once and then hid them under the couch. Then I fell asleep on the couch next to some beer and popcorn watching the game.
Jennifer's POV
Oh my gosh I just arrived on set.
"Hi Jennifer!" Keith said.
"Hi, you can call me Jen," I said as I shook his hand.
"Ok," he said.
"Hey Jennifer!" Harry said as he gave me a hug.
"Hi," I said.
"So this is the squad I guess," Harry said, "that's what the kids say these days right?"
Keith and I chuckled.
"So Jen, since you're the most famous one on this panel at the moment," Keith said.
"Hahaha," I laughed.
"No but seriously though," Keith and Harry said.
"You're the prettiest to," Harry said.
I blushed just a little bit.
"So y'all want to go to lunch together sometime to know each other a bit? Keith asked.
"Yeah sure why not?" I responded.
"Ok cool so I'll text you guys then," Keith replied.
"Yup," Harry and I said.
We were in the studio for a couple of hours and then we were allowed to go home.
I'm so happy to come home to Alex. I really wanted to tell him how cool the studio was. I ring the doorbell thinking he would answer but even after five minutes he didn't. I went around through the backyard to look through the window to find him laying down, looking passed out on the couch with some beer and some popcorn assuming he was watching the game.
I climb through the back window and once I get inside I go directly to the couch he's laying down and look around. I found steroids under the couch and I was heartbroken. At first I was thinking that he overdosed but he had a pulse.
I went to bed thinking about how this was all gonna come out tomorrow. You know what, I thought, I'm just going to see if he can come clean and tell me the truth to see how loyal he is.
I spent hours laying down on the bed staring at the ceiling thinking about how Max, Emme, Ella and Tashi are gonna feel about this. But I had to get some rest.
