Part 6

    Alex's POV
   This is terrible. Ella and Natasha can't stop talking about Jen. They miss her so much, I miss her so much. I'm going somewhere to get my mind of it.
   I go out for a run in Central Park and spot this young lady. I go up to her and try to start a conversation with her.
   "Hey," I said.
   "Hi," she says, "what's your name?"
   "Alex, and you?"
   "Oh Jill," she says.
   Jill, where have I heard that name before?
   We start talking about families and relationships and she says something that catches my eye.
   "Well I just had a divorce with my Ex-Husband Harry," she said.
   Isn't Harry the guy that Jen's working with?
   "Harry who?" I ask just to be sure.
   "Harry Connick Jr." Jill says.
   "My ex-girlfriend was talking about him," I said.
  "Oh really, what's her name?" Jill asked.
  "Jennifer," I said, "Jennifer Lopez."
  "You dated Jennifer Lopez like the Jennifer Lopez?" Jill asks.
  "Yeah," I said.
  "They work together on American Idol along with Keith Urban. You don't think that something sparked between them right?" Jill asked.
   "I don't know, would we be able to tell? I mean it is kind of coincidental and before she started she did talk about him a lot," I said.
  "We could find out," Jill says.
  "How?" I asked.
  "We could go to the set," Jill said.
  "But they won't let us in," I said.
  "Who said they were letting us in?" Jill asked.
  Was she going to sneak onto the set? She started telling me her plan I just decided to go along with it because I really wanted to see what's going on with her.
   "So are you in?" Jill asked.
   "Yeah," I said.
  I wasn't sure where she was going with this plan though.
   We get to the lot and we see American Idol. She said we were supposed to go through the back so we did.
   "Before we get in, just give me your number really quick," I said.
    "Yeah sure," Jill said.
   I reach in my pocket to get my phone and it's not there. Where is it then? I had it at lunch.
   I told her that I'll just get her number later because I'll have my phone. We go through the back door and right in front of us was the control room. For some reason, no security guards were standing there which seemed completely senseless.

"So what are we even here for?" I asked.

"We're here to see how Harry and Jen are doing," Jill said.

"Only?" I ask.

"Yes Only," Jill said.

Jennifer's POV

We both leaned into each other's lips, closer and closer. I rested my hands softly on his face and the kiss got deeper and deeper until I could feel his tongue. Then Keith walked in and we quickly pulled away from each other.
    "Wow!" Keith exclaimed as I bit my lip and giggled.
    "Wow..." Keith said.
   "Hahaha," I said, "what?"
   "You guys are really in love," Keith insisted.
"It's not love yet," Harry chuckled.
"So by 'not love yet' you mean neither of you have had the courage to say it too one another," Ryan said as he came out of nowhere, "Wait are you guys like boyfriend and girlfriend or is this like a fling?"
    "I guess we'll wait and see," Harry said as he turned and smiled at me.
    "Well my oh my since we are here an hour early, let's talk about how you guys are in love and how to everyone else in the world if they hear about this relationship would think so too," Keith said as he sat down and rested his head on his hand.
   Oh my gosh, the press.
   "Guys stop," I said.
   "No seriously, it's really freaking cute. He seems like the man you always wanted right?" Ryan said.
   Actually the man I wanted was Alex and he went behind my back and lied to me. But Harry would never do that to me, we've both been hurt and I really don't want to lose him.
   "Look at each other and tell us that you're not in love," Keith said.
  I look over at Harry and I blush.
  "We are not--" I say and start laughing, "oh my gosh guys we aren't okay stop asking."
  "Then say that you aren't," Ryan said.
  "We aren't officially dating yet," Harry said.
   "Can we just say that you're dating?" Ryan asked.
   "Guys stop, seriously," I said as I giggled.
  "How come I have no say in this," Harry said as I giggled, "hey Jennifer, will you be my girlfriend?"
  Oh my gosh, I can't say no he's so sweet.
  "Of course," I said as I gave him a peck and a huge hug.
  "Aww," Keith and Ryan said.
  "There it is," replied Keith.
  "Okay so now that this is over can we get on with the show?" Harry asked.
  "But the show doesn't start for another 30 minutes so..." Keith said.
  "So what?" I asked.
  "Let's talk about you guys moving in together," Keith said.
  "What?!" I exclaimed.
  "Let's be honest guys," Ryan said, "you guys are in the honeymoon phase and will probably never get out of it. You guys are perfect for each other and obviously wouldn't go behind each other's back. You have both been hurt and this is the best relationship both of you have ever been in."
   Wow, Ryan was actually right. Is Harry the one. Have I actually found a soulmate? I love him so much but I don't think either of us are ready to say it yet.
    "Guys," Harry said, "can we just make one thing clear."
    "What?" We asked.
    "We can't let the paparazzi hear about any of this, okay." Harry said.
    Ugh the paps, can they let us do anything?
    "I mean, the last time they saw Jen was with you know, Alex. The last time they saw Harry was with well, Jill. So if they see you together it's going to be all over the tabloids. Probably saying dumb shit like 'Jennifer Lopez Cheats on Alex Rodriguez with New Man?'" Keith said.

Harry's POV
    Can the paps just let people live their lives. I mean we're regular people, we aren't anything special.
    "Let's just try to not look at some of the downsides of this relationship," I said as I gazed into Jen's eyes.

Ryan's POV
   I look at these two and they are the perfect couple hands down so I text Keith even though he's right in front of me.
*open texts*
R: Let's leave them alone and see what happens. They might say something that they wouldn't wanna say in front of us🤷🏻‍♂️
K: How are we going to know what they say tho?🤷‍♂️
R: 🤦🏻‍♂️ do you forget that there are cameras everywhere. We'll just go to control room.
K: okay but what's the excuse😂
R: We just say we have some shit to take care of idk😏😂
K: okay then😂
*open texts*
    "Okay guys well we gotta go," I said, "we'll come back 5 minutes to showtime."

Jennifer's POV
   Oh dear god I hate those two. But at least they left us alone when we were actually dating. I gazed into Harry's eyes.
    "Hey so I've been meaning to tell you something," he says.
    "What is it?" I ask.
    "So you know how I went back to New Orleans to see my grandma?" Harry said as he was about to cry. I gave him a hug.

    "Well," he said, "obviously I couldn't leave New Orleans without getting you something." 

    He pulled out a little toy bear that was holding a red heart. 

     "Aww, thank you," I said as I gave him a kiss.

     "Open the heart," Harry says.

    I unzip open the heart and there's a note inside.

   "What is this?" I ask with a smirk.

   "Open the note," Harry says.

   I unfold the note and it says, Jennifer, I love you. I know I said it once but I barely meant it and now I actually do. You're perfect and hopefully, till death do us part.
    I look up at Harry and give him a big hug.
   "I love you too," I say as I give him a deep kiss.

Alex's POV

We get inside and see that Keith and Ryan are watching the security cameras. We take a look at the cameras to find Harry and Jen kissing. I couldn't watch this. Jill looks at me in shock.

"How did this happen?" Jill whispered.

"I don't know but they seem pretty close," I said.

"Yeah no shit," Jill said, "We have to sabotage their happiness."

"I agree," I said, "So what do we do?"

"We have to kidnap them," Jill said.

Kidnap? Is she joking?

"As in Ryan and Keith?" I ask

"Yeah," she said.

I just went along with her plan. Ryan and Keith were out like a light.

"Where did you learn to do that?" I asked.

"I had some Kung Fu training as a kid," Jill said, "I guess it paid off."
