A whole new adventue {The Vamps fanfic}

Coffee stop

Just half an hour to go, I told myself.. I had been driving for goodness knows how long and was starting to feel the side effects, tiredness.. I decided to pull into costa to grab myself a coffee, I needed caffeine.

I was heading towards the door when I bumped into someone, their coffee spilling on me slightly. 'Shit' I said aloud, without thinking first.

'Oh my gosh, I'm so so sorry' A voice said, I looked up to be met with some friendly eyes, 'I'm so clumsy, I wasn't looking where I was going..' they continued ranting. 'Please-'

'Hey,' I cut them off, 'it's fine honestly, it'll wash out.' I gave him a warm smile to show I wasn't annoyed. I stepped back so I was able to get a better view of him, wow. He was a looker, way to make a great first impression Rose.

'I'm James,' said the guy, sticking his hand out for me to shake which I gladly accepted.

'Rose, Rose Deity' I said. He now had a wide smile on his face which matched mine.

'So... Are you new here? I haven't seen you around before, and trust me, I'd remember a beautiful face like yours.' James said with a wink.

I blushed at his comment, me beautiful? Has he seen himself? Still I replied, 'Actually yes, I have literally just moved here today. My mum moved here last month and I'm officially here to join her! Not that I know where I'm living, I've never actually been here before..'

'Really? Well that's awesome! Listen, how about I take your number? We could hang out, I'll show you around and introduce you to a few people.. That's only if you'd like?'

'That would be great,' I said enthusiastically. 'You have no idea how worried I've been about not knowing anybody!'

'Well, you don't have to worry about that anymore! Here, pop your number in.' He handed me his phone and I did as he said, a smile never leaving my face.

'There we go, if you'll excuse me I must grab my coffee and go before it gets too late!' I stepped round him and continued towards the door, turning round just before I stepped inside. 'Oh and James?' I called to him he turned to look at me. 'Thank you!'

'Its no problem Rose Deity,' he replied with a smile, 'It's no problem at all'

I continued in and ordered my take-away coffee, though I was already feeling more awake after that little conversation. I heard my name called and I thanked the server and headed back to my car, still smiling.

It didn't take me long, I was able to find my way to the house quite easily. I stepped out seeing the house for the first time, taking it in.. Not bad I thought, smiling yet again.. Different but I guess I've got to get used to this.. I lent in and beeped my horn letting my mum know I'd arrived, an old tradition of ours you could say. The front door opened and mum came out coming and giving me a big hug.

'What do you think hunny?' She said smiling.

'Its great mum,' I responded half forcing a smile, what did she expect? I've just left some of the most important people in my life behind..

'Come on, let's get your things and go inside' she said, I reckon we'll have a talk in the morning about this.. Fantastic.

After unloading I went up to my room ~ most things were already up here, just a case of unpacking and making my new room feel.. Well, like my room..

2 hours and I was done, well, for now. I'd said to myself that in the morning I'd go out and get some things to decorate, I was living here now after all. I looked over at the clock, blimey it's late, how time flies..

I decided to call it a day and head to bed, checking my phone just before I did.

*5 NEW MESSAGES* ~ MAISIE, DAN, UNKNOWN, CODY x2

I opened them in order, starting with Maisies..

'RoRo, I'm missing you already. Things will never be the same without you, come back and visit soon? Let me know you've arrived safely.. Love you boo xxx'

I quickly hit the reply button.. 'May, of course I'll come back and visit - you can't get rid of me that easily haha! Sorry for the late reply, everything's okay though, just trying my best to settle in.. Love you millions xxx'

Next there was Dan..

'Hey Squirt, just thought I'd check up on you. I never did say this but you truly are an amazing friend, I already miss you as do the others. See you soon, don't be a stranger x'

It made me chuckle, also bringing a tear to my eye, these guys were too sweet..

'Me? A stranger? You know that'll never happen.. Thank you Dan, you are a top friend, one of the best! Missing you already x' lame response, but I can't put everything I want to say down, words don't even cover it.

I decided to leave the unknown one for last, hesitantly opening Codys first, followed by his second..

'Rosie, I'm losing my mind, I meant every word. Every. Single. One. The fact I won't see your face everyday from now on hurts more than you'll ever know. Please text/call/whatever you want and let me know you're safe <3'

'PS. If it isn't already clear, I love you<3'

Okay.. Now I was full on crying.. I decided I needed to respond so I just typed and pressed send, not sparing a second glance.. 'Cody, I don't even know what to say.. You left me speechless, and I cannot put into words how special you are to me.. I'm okay here, it'll just take a while to settle in.. I love you too<3'

I composed myself and got my pj's on before looking at my final text, an unknown number..

'Hi! It's James here, just wanted to say sorry again for spilling coffee on you! It was nice to meet you though, want to meet tomorrow? I thought I could introduce you to some people and show you around, help you know the area better? Let me know :) x'

A smile settled on my lips, 'Hey! Don't worry about the coffee, tomorrow sounds good. I'd love to meet some new people, it'll help me feel better:) That's if you want to? Don't feel pressured haha x'

James responded more or less straight away, 'No pressure at all, I want to :) see you tomorrow, text me your address? I'll pick you up at 11 x'

I sent him my address and let out a big yawn, finally crawling into my bed and deciding tomorrow will be a good day.
