I was woken up to the sunlight streaming into my room, damn I forgot to close the curtains.. Too much on my mind I guess.. I lazy climbed out of bed and made my way over to them, pulling them tightly closed glancing over at my clock. 8.30. Far too early for my liking.

With a sigh I scrambled back into bed, just lying there not wanting to move for a while. I knew there was no way I'd be getting back to sleep..

After a while I heard a faint knocking at my door. 'Hello?' I called out, my door opened slightly and my mum popped her head in, a steaming cup of cocoa in her hands.

'Morning hunny' she said, walking in. 'I brought you a drink to help wake you up. Do you have any plans today?'

'N- Oh wait yes! I do!' I replied smiling, remembering my plans with James. I then realised I hadn't explained to mum that I'd met someone from around here. 'I bumped into a buy yesterday, his name is James. He wanted to take me out today, show me the area and introduce me to some people. Is that okay?'

Mum had a big smile on her face after I'd explained so I knew it wouldn't be a problem. She went on and on about how she was happy I was going to be able to meet people around here, happy I wouldn't be alone here. She knew it was my fear.

After talking for a little longer I looked at the clock and realised it was 10.15 - James would be here in less than an hour! Sugar! I excused myself to get myself ready and popped in the shower, turning my music up full blast. When I'd finished off my make-up I tried to pick the perfect outfit, I needed to make a good first impression after all. I settled on my nice legging and a little white and pink lace T-shirt. I put my demin jacket and bag on the bed for when it was time to leave. 10.55 - not long left, just got to do my hair now I thought to myself.

One of my favourite songs came on - Best Song Ever. I turned it up even louder, as-if that were possible and started dancing round my room, singing along while trying to tie my hair up in a messy bun. Once done I heard a cough behind me, when I turned round my jaw dropped.

4 guys, there were 4 guys standing in my room with amused smirks on their faces. Shit.

James broke the silence, 'Well well well, goodmoring Rose,' he was trying not to laugh, I could tell.

'Hiiiiiiii James,' I said, purposefully dragging out the word, why did this have to happen, why?! 'How did you get up here?' I continued in a polite yet curious tone.

'Your mum let us in a few minutes ago,' he was smirking again, 'nice dancing babe'

'Thaaaaankss.. Gosh, did you even knock?' I said chuckling myself.

One of the others spoke up, 'Your music was too loud love.' I turned to look at who said that and instantly found myself looking into the most captivating eyes, a smile forming on my face matching theres.

'Hmm.. Note to self, keep the music down.' - I heard some chuckles in response.

'So,' James said and cleared his throat, 'Rose, I want you to meet Connor, Tristan and Brad.' pointing to each boy as he said their name, they all gave me a little wave in response. My eyes followed along the line, resting on the boy who spoke up slightly longer than the other two. There was just something about those eyes that intrigued me..  James then continued, 'They're gonna help me show you around if thats okay? Oh and I'm having a party tomorrow, so if you'd like, you can come along and meet some more people?'

'That'd be lovely! Hello guys' I said, a smile resting on my lips.

'C'mon then lets goooo' Brad said, the boy with those wonderful eyes. The boys started walking out and popped by jacket on, I turned to see Brad waiting for me.. He stepped forward and grabbed my hand with a grin and a wink pulling me out the door with him.

Yep, today was going to be a good day.
