I woke up abruptly,  the smell of smoke seeping its way into my room. I pushed my blanket away from me, allowing it to flop in the gap between my bed and wall. "M-mum? Dad?" I asked as more smoke crawled in.

I coughed and stood up, I went straight to the door and yanked it open. Smoke immediately chased after me, I ran to my window and opened it, crackiling filled my ears, drowning out any other noises. Apart from the faint screaming coming from my parents room.

Orange flamed crawled up the stairs as I stepped into the hall, coughing violently. "MOM, DAD!" I screamed running down the hall, the flames crawled up the walls, growing bigger every second. I rubbed my eyes from the smoke stinging them.

"MOM, DAD!" I screamed through tears as I ran to thair room. By this time the hall was in flames, my parents door was close, I came towards it, "Felicity, get out of here" my mothers weak voice called, I violently shook my head, then remembered they couldn't see me "Im not leaving without you" I called back brushing back a strand of what usued to be white hair, now it was a grey colour. I watched in fear as a peice of the roof colapsed, blocking the doorway.  "FELICITY LEAVE NOW!" my mothers stern voice repeated. I shook my head, "Not until I get you out!" I said back.

I rubbed my blue eye, flames engulfing the hall. "Flix baby, leave" My dad said.

"I can't" I cried, I wasn't leaving without them. I heard the faint sound of sirens in the distance.

I screamed as another peice of the roof came down, almost hitting me. I quickly dodged it. "Your gunna be ok guys, help is coming" I cried despratly trying to get to the door. I managed to open it my slipping my hand through a small gap, lightly burning my wrist.

I winced silently as my parents faces came to view. "We said leave!" My mother cried, holding father for dear life. I walked to the end of the hall, ran then lept over the obstical, burning my leg and smacking my knee off the floor.

I hugged them both, breathing quickly, then flames errupted from the ground, bringing parts of the floor with it. "Honey, you must go, leave us, we'll be fine" she said hugging me. I hugged her back, refusing to leave. "No I can't" I said as the floor cracked beneth us. Mum through me across the room as she and father fell into the cruel flames. "No" I whispered.

I got off the ground, crawling to the hole, there thair bodies lay, helpless, lifless, dead. The flames slowly consuming their very souls. I couldn't look away.

Then the window smashed, I screamed a weak scream due to the lack of oxygen. I staggered away from the flames and hole as they burst thurther into the room due to the fact there was now more oxygen.

A boy looked down at me, "You ok?" he asked in a worried tone.

"N-no, not r-really" I whimpered looking down at whats left of my parents, my only family. The boy in a green hoodie and black jeans helped me up from the floor.

He helped me out the window then I remembered something, I took a deep breath of air then ran back in. "Hey!" the boy called as I darted to the door, grabbing a pillow from mums bed on the way, I lept over the large chunk on ceiling then blew off the pillow which took most of the flames instead of me. I ran into my room and swung open my half burning draw. I threw down the pillow then I pulled out three boxes and a envelope. I help them tight then grabbed the 'special box' from under my bed. I hugged it tight to my chest. Then the boy came in, "What are you doing?!?" he almost yelled, I shook my head and clambered out my open window, one hand holding two large shoe sized boxes, a smaller shoe box and I tony one, envelope grasped in my mouth I climbed down the guttering pipe. the boy leaping down towards me, he then shot a grapple gun and grabbed me by the waist, pulling me down (which is where I was going) with him.

We landed on the ground and he looked at me, "You could have died"

"Yeah I know" I gave him a sorry look as ambulances came closer to me. Doctors and nurses took me in one, not once did I let the boxes or envelope from my sight or hold.
