Chapter 2

They shot at the shadows, the noise was deafening. I threw my hands over my ears whilst I led Nick over to where Nathan was, black sand sorrounding him. I smiled thankful he was okay, yes he could be a jerk at times but he saved me and he waspart of our little team so... "Where's lauren?" I asked worried.

"I dunno, shall we look for her?" Nick asked.

"Yeah, follow me" I said running across the road and down an alley, I lept up onto a bin and lept over the wire fence. I landed on the gravel like floor, "Flix where are we going?"

"Just trust me on this" I snapped back as the boys hesitated but joined me. I nodded and ran across the gravel and towards a row of houses, I lept up at one and swung onto the guttering pipe, Nathan waited at the bottom whilst Nick followed me I then scrambled onto the roof, Nathan teleported up and joined us.

"So... why are we here?" Nick asked.

"I... I thaught I could hear... this way!" I yelled following the voice, "Jump over to the next house, you can make it, GO" It yelled. I nodded and lept over the gap catching the house with my fingertips. I pulled myself up. "Hear what?" Nick asked.

"Nothing, it doesn't matter just trust me" I huffed standing up, Nathan created a platform bridge which he and Nick walked over.

I ran over the roofs which would be hard but Nathan made a platform like thing so I didn't slip across the tiles. I ran then stopped, "Your friend was taken by the shadows, if you leap down you will make it"

"Nathan, teleport us down" I sighed. He teleported us to the ground then the voice came back "She is running from the shadows, she'll be coming out that alley soon but don't let her get too conftable, she is weak, she'll be killed in a matter of weeks" it laughed. I stared at the alley.

"Over there" I said walking to the alley and sure enough, She came running out. The guys faces filled with shock. "NATHAN PUT A WALL OVER THE ALLEY!" I yelled, he obayed and Lauren ran over to us as the shadows tried to escape.

"How did you..." Nick asked. I ignored him. "Doesn't matter" I huffed as Lauren came closer to us, "Guys! The shadows are strong, we can't protect-"

"We can, you can't" I said.

"Wgat do you mean?"

"Lauren, your weak, your going to get killed" I said in a monotone voice.

"No! Your the weak one!"

"Lau-"

"You are weak Felicity, You are not me"

"La-"

"SHUT UP! " She yelled. Nathan was still holding the wall whilst Nick just watched us argue.

"YOU THINK YOUR SO SPECIAL! You think your the best, miss perfect, well, your not!" She yelled.

"Calm down" I said quietly, "I just lead the boys to-"

"AGAIN, I DID THIS I DID THAT! SHUT THE HELL UP FELICITY!" she screamed. I felt my anger rising.

"Be quiet" I said through gritted teeth.

"NO, YOU LISTEN TO SOMEONE ELSE IN YOUR WORTHLESS LIFE INSTEAD OF FOCUSING ON YOU ALL THE TIME!" She screamed. I cringed, I yhaught Lauren would be nice.

"Quiet" I said.

"SHUT UP, iF YOU DON'T ILL-"

"YOULL WHAT, KILL ME?"

"Just like your parents, you'll be dead" She spat. My anger rose higher, Nick came forwards but he didn't have time to stop us.

"Id like to see you try!" I sneered as white, blue and red crystals rose from the ground.
