See Through Me

Leia pov
I am walking to Java Junction when all of a sudden I stop in my tracks. I can see Luke and Maggie talking. They look happy because they are smiling and they are writing things down in a notebook. They like one another, they were meant to be. I walk in trying to ignore what I am feeling... which is pain. I see Jude who is grabbing a drink and I walk up to him.

"Hey sunshine." I say as I put my hand around his torso.

"Oh god Leia we are still doing this." He says as he looks at me then takes a sip from his drink.

"Yup sunshine." I say loud enough so everyone can hear.

"Ok moonbeam." he says then grabs my hand.

We walk out and I turns round for just a second. Luke and I both lock eyes, but I look away soon after. He can't know I still like him.

Luke pov
I though it was a game, but it doesn't look like it. Leia and Jude are real and all I feel such jealousy. What does he have that I don't. He raps, but I can make better songs. Leia and I locked eyes as she walked away, but something tells me that she is trying to avoid me after she poured her heart out telling me she liked me. I was so stupid that I told her I wasn't ready. It was true I wasn't but I am now. I look at Maggie as she looks at me. I have to try and move on.

"Maggie would you like to be my girlfriend?" I ask as her smile widens.

"Omg yes I would love to." she says then kisses me on the lips. I would say I enjoyed our kiss, but that would be lying because when she kissed me all I could think was Leia.

The boy band and the girl band are all in the rose room listening to a song Leia wrote. Its beautiful, but I can't help but see the tear rolling down her check. She doesn't look over at me, but all I do is look at her. She finishes her song and everyone applauses, but I don't. I look at her and I have nothing to say or do so I walk out. Its best if we leave each other alone. No problems. I hear footsteps and I turn around. Its Leia.

"Why did you leave." she says as she looks me in the eyes. I want to look at her and hug her, but I feel bad that I didn't do anything to fix what was going on.

"It was getting hot, but good song." I say then walk away. Am I ignoring her know? I have to say something I can't just leave.

"Do you really love Jude or are you doing that to make me mad?" I ask.

"I like you Luke, but you didn't say or do anything. I wanted to move on, but seeing you and Maggie is so hard. It just broke my heart." she says as she gets closer.

"I like you too." I say and I then realize, I have a girlfriend.
