The Fight~Chapter 11

"What's this?" Eren questions while turning his phone around.

On the screen is of course the picture from last night...

Levi's heart stops for a second and he looks up at Eren whose face is a mixture of shock with a slight hint of anger.

"Look Eren-" Levi tries to speak before getting cut off.

"Don't give me that crap! What the hell is this?!" Eren shouts angrily.

"You were incredibly drunk, there was nothing I could do. It happened by accident." Levi says while taking a sip of his tea.

"How can you just sit there like that?! You said I was drunk, weren't you?! It doesn't look like an accident to me!" Eren screams.

"Jaeger, it doesn't matter. No I wasn't drunk. You'll never think of me in that way so it doesn't matter. Just forget about it, it was in the heat of the moment." Levi states while flipping through his book.

Eren grabs Levi's book and throws it in the floor angrily. Levi sets his mug on the table and stands up to face Eren.

"What if it did mean something to me?! Huh Levi! What if I am in love with you?! What if you're the only thing I think about?! What if I dream about us being together?! Us kissing?!" With those shouts, the wall inside of Eren comes crashing down.

"You'd be stupid to love me because I'll never feel the same." Levi's lies sting his words as they flow out of his mouth.

"I hate you! I wish I'd never met you!" Eren screams and runs up the stairs.

Levi hears Eren's door slam shut and locking. Levi covered his face with his hands. He had to lie to Eren, he didn't want to see him hurt. Levi will leave for university in a year or two and they wouldn't see each other for a really long time. He didn't want Eren to fall in love with someone as cold and mean as him. Eren deserves much better than that. One small tear ran away down Levi's cheek, this is the first time Levi has ever felt sadness before.

Eren curls up in his blanket with tears streaming down his face. He flicks through memes on his phone, hoping it will make him feel better but nothing seems to be working. He had received a lot of messages concerning the night before but of course Eren didn't even want to read them. He throws his phone across the floor while letting out a scream. All Eren wants to do is curl up into a small ball and cry. Eren eventually crawls over to his phone and scrolls through his texts.

Mama Hanji (5:31 AM): Omggggg you and Levi are soooooo cute!!!! <333

Mama Hanji (16:24 PM): Omg...Eren, I'm so sorry for posting the picture. This is all my fault...I'm really really sorry...

Eren: No...it's ok, it's for the best. He doesn't see me that way anyways...

Tears flooded down Eren's cheeks, he quickly texts back his reply before receiving another message.

Mama Hanji: Meet me at the park near your house after school tomorrow. I need to talk to you :)

Eren: oh ok...I'll see you then. Btw how do yo know where I live...

Mama Hanji: HAHAHA...not like I stalk you or anything 'cause that would be soooo weird...

Eren: Ok...if you say so...

Eren laughs a bit through his tears. Eren crawls onto his bed and sleep takes over him. He awakens to the sound of soft knocking on his door shortly after he had fallen asleep.

"Hey...Eren. Can we talk?" A soft voice calls from the other side.

Eren gets up to open the door and standing there is Mikasa. Her expression looks very worried. She wraps her arms around Eren to comfort him.

"I heard the fight, I'm so sorry I couldn't come sooner I was an important call. Don't trust Levi, he's a dick and waste of your time." Mikasa comforts and pets his hair softly.

Eren nods quietly into Mikasa's shoulder. Mikasa and Eren sit on the bed with their hands linked as they talk. They talk about everything and Mikasa convinces Eren to never talk to Levi again.

Even after their talk Eren's feelings for Levi still hadn't changed...

I hope you enjoyed that chapter! I tried to add some things to lighten the angsty teen atmosphere so it wasn't too depressing to read, hope you guys didn't mind!
