Now without any further rambling about my shite, let's get right, into the chapter!

Brad's POV:
I lay in my bed, unable to sleep.
Why?
Well, try to sleep when there are flashes of lightning shining through my window like a bright phone screen when you check your texts at 3 AM, or when there's a loud ass thunder breaking the, not so silent atmosphere, or when the rain is splattering all over your window like there's no tomorrow. Yup, you can guess.
I was stuck at home, in a thunder storm.
And I HATE storms.
They're just so loud and scary and frightening and just straight up horrible. So I lay here, tossing and turning in my bed, contemplaiting my exsistance and regretting my life.
Then I hear a louxd creaking sound of my bedroom door being opened. I look up to see my younger brother Matt standing in the doorway with tears in his eyes.
"Shit, sorry Brad, I-I didn't mean to wake you up.. I'll just go..." he says and almost closes the door.
"Matt, wait." he stops and looks at me again.
"You didn't wake me up, I was awake before.. What's wrong?" I ask as I rub my eyes. He looks down,
"I'm scared..." he answers, his voice cracking a bit, warning me about the tears that'll spill any moment now.
"Aww, come here buddy" I reach out for him and he comes over and hugs me tightly, while I pull him on the bed with me. He lays down and I pull the covers over both of us and he cuddles up to me, his back pressed against my chest.
"Better?" I ask, wrapping my arms around him, earning a nod from him. I smile a bit and kiss his head, feeling him relax next to me. We stay like that for some time, just being quiet and enjoying eachothers company. A short while later, I hear soft snores coming from Matt. I smile and kiss his cheek, pulling him closer to me, as I feel my eyelids become heavy and soon after, I join my little brother in the dream land.
I'll always be here for you Matt. Always.

Ok, this took me longer than I originally thought it would .-. (I forgot I actually had something to write XD sorry)
And I'm sorry because it's really short and shitty :/
