Dani's POV:
"Are you sure you'll be okay?" my boyfriend Barry asked me, and I nodded and blew my nose.
"I'll be fine Barry, just go already" I giggled and gently pushed him to the door of our apartment. He kissed my cheek one more time and left the apartment, going to work.
As soon as he was gone, I groaned and collapsed on the couch, burrying myself in four blankets and curling into a ball. I coughed and blew my nose again, our cat Pirate jumping between my legs and laying down next to me, purring non-stop. I smiled a little and pet her, then turned on the TV and took two pills for my head and another one for my throat.
A few hours had passed and I had gotten a billion times worse. I'm still cold after wrapping myself in nine blankets, my nose feels like it's gonna explode, the same thing with my head and on top of that I ran out of pills for my throat. I was feeling pretty dizzy so I decided to just sleep and do nothing else but sleep.

I don't know how much time had passed since I fell asleep, all I know now, is that Barry came back from work. I heard him unlock and open the front door, then closing them and taking off his shoes.
"Baby, I'm home! I brought you pills and some snacks!" he yelled and put his stuff down, and I just groaned in response.
"Baby??" he was very confused after I didn't run up to him and started jumping all over him like a dog, seeing his owner after 3 months like I usually do. He walked into the living room and saw me, a potato wrapped in a dozen of blankets.
"Aww, Dani.." he went over and tried to kiss my forehead, but I stopped him.
"N-no you'll g-get sick too..." I said and coughed.
"I don't care, I just want to be with my little potato" he giggled and laid behind me, spooning me. I smiled and closed my eyes.
"Do you need anything, Dani? Pills? Snacks? Soup? More blankets??" I just giggled.
"I'm good babe.. I just want cuddles." I smiled and cuddled him.
He kissed my head as I slowly fell asleep.

Done. I hope you guys liked this, and I'm sorry it's so super fucking short and that I haven't posted anything in a while, I've been under a lot of stress lately, plus all these exams and shit coming up.
Also, I decided I will (try to) post something every Saturday, it'll be either this book, or the other one, but only one chapter of a book a week.
