Chapter 11 (Continued)

"Oh hey there! You just scared the hell out of me! How long have you been standing there? I stammered.

"Well I just came in to throw this glass." Jordy said without feeling dubious.

"I...I was just getting myself into a peaceful atmosphere cause the crowd sometimes makes me feel nauseous haha." I placed the half empty plate on the counter.

"Do you want a company? Cause crowds don't help me either! It's really sick to be the centre of attention with everyone staring at and judging the birthday boy." he sighed.

So I let him accompany me in the kitchen, though I mentally taunted myself and my ill luck of not being able to dump the entire thing from the plate. I couldn't even deny him cause he's been really helpful and polite lately and I didn't want to seem rude or ignorant.

"So how's the party going? " I asked

"To be honest, the party sucks. I did a great mistake inviting Ashley here. Parties aren't my thing but you see, I made this promise to my best friend that I would throw one on my 17th and so I'm glad I didn't have to break that. But now, I just feel like I've  made a fool out of myself. "

"Oh don't say that. The party is going really well. I'm still in shock of the fact that you made all these friends within just two weeks of your arrival. And what about Ashley?! "

"Firstly she snatched the invitation card from me and said that she'll be here by 7. So you see she's basically an uninvited guest. Secondly she's getting so drunk there and creating a bizzare outside. She is going on begging people to kiss her and pushing people in the pool. Thirdly I saw her trying to steal my car keys but on timely confrontation, she claimed that she just wanted to take a ride!", he cupped his cheeks.

And in that moment, I weirdly couldn't stop fantasising about him cause he looked really cute in his suit and his perfume made his voice go fainter and fainter.

"Is she like the Queen B of the school and are you guys "best friends"or something? Heyy.... Aria... You alright? " and he snapped me out of my dirty thoughts.

"Oh yes... I'm listening. "

"So you didn't answer my question! "

And what could I clearly answer cause I didn't listen to anything he spoke and so I just went on with a YES.

"I'm really sorry that I trash talked about her but I couldn't help it! "he bit his nails.

Holy shit! He asked me if we were besties. How deadly could this day become?!

Just then Leo popped in to ask if I was ready to head home. But as I was about to rise up, Jordy offered to give me a ride.

"Well thanks for the offer, but I can drop her on the way. It's no big deal. Come on Aria. " Leo smirked.

Now I played my move by saying that he should probably let Jordy leave me home (Okay I was clearly trying to make him jealous). He stood there with the unbearable shock and jealousy for a few seconds and then left dissapointed. I did feel bad about ditching him since I was the one who forcefully brought him here but I  wanted him to open up about their brother bond conflict and every major secret of his, including his leg.
So Jordy and I talked for hours and hours without even noticing that the party had got over and everyone left. The whole house was a mess and so I offered to clean it up but he denied and asked me to hop into the car. Strangely he knew where I lived but I never bothered to ask him how, as I dozed off to sleep in the car. On reaching the destination, I just got off the car without even thanking him cause the drinks were kicking in and I stumbled and somehow reached my door.

A/N: Ooooh Jordy seems like a nice guy afterall. Then what's the matter between him and Leo?
