blissful mistake

chapter 9

Dahvie's P.O.V. I woke up to the front door shutting loudly. Well at least I didn't wake up from nausea. I turned to the clock on my nightstand. It read 6:50 a.m. Was that Jayy who left? He is never up this early. I got up quietly and headed downstairs. The place was completely silent. I walked into the kitchen and notice I piece of paper on the table. I opened it and read it:

Dahvie

Hey I left early this morning and I'm gonna be back late tonight. Don't wait up.

Jayy

I set the paper down signing in relief. I had no doubt I would be crying today. I'm telling my mom about the baby today. I'm really nervous about it. I decide to make breakfast since I need to eat. I made cereal and ate quickly. Once I finished I went upstairs. When I was half way up the stairs I got I sharp pain in my abdomen. I grunted in pain and hunched over. After a moment the pain went away. panicked I went straight for my phone and called my doctor.

Dahvie- D

Doctor (Raven)- R

R- Hello?

D- Hey its Dahvie. Um I just got a pain in my stomach. I don't know it was.

R- Can you describe what it feels like?

D- It kinda felt like my stomach was tightening or contracting.

R- Oh. I forgot to tell you. You are gonna have cramps occasionally. It shouldn't happen to often. Just call me if they continue to happen periodically.

D- Okay. Thank you. I just kind of panicked for a second.

R- Its fine. My fault. I forgot to mention it to you. Well since you are already on the phone. Would you like to set up a date for your next appointment?

D- Umm okay. Oh I'm gonna to be on tour soon. I don't know how that is gonna work.

R- I don't think that is a good idea but maybe we can work something out. Dahvie you need to be monitored. Something might go wrong. We need to be safe about this.

D- Why do you come with me? I'm sure the band wouldn't mind. That way you can make that the baby is doing good.

R- I don't know. I guess it could work. Well still have time to think about it. In the mean time I need you to come in two weeks on Friday. At 1:30. That'll be your next visit. As that a good time?

D- Yeah that's good. Well I have to go. Thanks again. Good bye.

R- Bye Dahvie.

I hung up the phone call and went to get dressed. Once I was dressed I went back downstairs and cleaned up a bit to waste time. As so as I finished i sat on the couch and waited. Oh god i cant believe I'm doing this. I have to though. she is my mom. she will love me no matter what, right? A minute later I heard the doorbell ring. Okay I can do this. I got up and made my way to the door. I placed my hand on the knob and took a deep breath. I opened the door and saw the beautiful woman that gave birth to me.

   " Hey mom, I greeted as I gave her a hug.

  " Hey sweetie," she said

  " how are you?"

   " I'm good. How are you?" I asked as I opened the door more to let her in. she walked in and set her purse down.

   " I'm great, " she answered. We walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. We sat and chatted for a bit just catching up. 

  " So what was it you wanted to talk about?" she asked a few moments later.

   " Um well there is something I wanted to tell you," I said quietly.

   " What is it honey?"

   " Well I don't really know how to say this but about a month ago Jayy and I went to the club and we had a little to much to drink, " I paused right there unable to fight the tears.

   "Jesus what happened?" She pressed with a worried look on her face.

   " We screwed up big time. I don't know what to do. I do t know if I can hide it"

  " Hide what?" I pulled out the sonogram from my pocket and handed it over to her.

  " Did you get a girl pregnant?" She asked.

  " No I'm pregnant," i blurted out. Oh god. Why did  i agree to this? I look away unable to meet her eyes. It was silent until i felt hernwrapped her arms around me.

   " Babe I'm so sorry. I should have told you. I didnt     think it would happen. Im sorry," she said.

   " Mom you need about this?" I asked. She  nodded. Well its nice to know she knew before me,  

  " When did this happen?" She asked.

  "  A month ago," i answered.

   ":And Jayy is the dad right?"

  "Yes" i sighed. What am i gonna  do with Jayy?

  " Does he know?" " No," i mumbled.

   " Okay. Well its you desicion to tell him, " she said. I nodded. Wait.

   " Why didnt you tell me?" I asked.

  " Well youre straight. I didnt think you would sleep with a guy," she said very bluntly. I blushed.

  " It wasnt suppose to happen," i said. After that my mom hung out for a while and we talk about random things. Well she excited about the baby. Okay. Today was exhasting.
