8~Meet the fam (Tom Holland)

Today was the day. I was finally going to meet Tom's family. I was nervous of course but more excited than anything. We have been dating for about three months now and the love has never been stronger. I woke up to a text from Tom.

Morning, love. I will be there at one to pick you up.

Sent at 8:36 AM

I quickly replied okay with some cute coupley emojis because why the hell not. I checked the time and it read 10:14. Oh shit!!! I have to shower and makeup and ugghhh.

*cleaning thyself and makeup montage because im a lazy arse*

I took one last look in the mirror. (outfit above) I hope i make a good impression. I heard the doorbell ring and i grabbed my clutch and opened the door revealing my boyfriend. His eyes widened suddenly.

"You look...amazing!" He said while stuttering just a little.

"Why thank you." I responded while twirling my dress in my hands. He took my hand and led me to the car, opening my door for me like the true gentleman he is. The drive was about ten minutes to his parent's house. I started rubbing my palms on my knees and Tom noticed.

"Babe, you nervous?" He asked looking at me briefly before turning his attention to the road.

"A little. What if they dont like me? Is my dress too revealing? What about your brothers? What if they dont like me either?" I rambled on about my worries and Tom grabbed my hand in attempt to calm me down.

"You'll be okay. I love you. They know that. They will love you too. Your dress is fine. Don't worry about my brothers. If anything, i will have to talk to them about keeping their eyes off of you." He reassured me with a small chuckle and that gorgeous smile I love so much.

We pulled into the driveway of the house and i got more nervous if thats even possible. His mom opened the door to greet us and I could feel my heart racing underneath my chest.

"Hiii!!! Tom we are so happy you finally brought the girl!" I could feel ,YOSELF blushing as she hugged Tom in the most motherly way. "Speaking of which, you must be y/n. Hi sweetie I'm Nikki, I'm so glad to finally meet you." She gave me a quick hug but still warm and sweet. She walked us inside where you could hear the pounding of footsteps from an upstairs bedroom and soon enough a little boy around the age of 13 came rushing down and almost trampled me.

"Is this her Tom? Is this the girl you always talk about? Is she the one who's sooooo pretty and perfect and we just HAVE to meet her?" Tom chuckled nervously while nodding. The little boy calmly (for once) went up to me and stuck his hand out for me to shake. I happily took it. "I'm Paddy. Or Padster. Or Padstaman, you choose."

"Hi Paddy, I'm y/n. Nice to meet you." I said while letting go to turn my head towards the other family members who are beginning to swarm. I could see one man with Nikki with a particularly wide smile while two older boys sat on the couch paying more attention to the sports game displayed on the TV.

"Hey" they both said simultaneously.

"Hello darling, I'm Dominic but if you prefer Dom or Dommo that's fine too, we are so happy to meet the girl making our son so damn happy all the time." I smiled at that. It's good to know he talks about me to his family.

"It's lovely to meet you as well, this is a very beautiful home you have. Thank you for inviting me." I smiled along the whole night. His family was so sweet and kind to me. Dinner came and went and the time came to go home. I got in the car with Tom in the drivers seat but before he started the car he turned to look at me.

"I'm sorry. I was really hoping they wouldn't be so...hover-ish." He said with an apologetic smile.

"Tom, are you kidding? That went amazing! They're all so sweet they weren't 'hover-ish' at all. Paddy was..something but I promise you have nothing to apologize for." I looked at him reassuringly. He started the car, and we drive home.

I AM SO FUCKING SORRY

So I moved, I started in a new school and I haven't found any time to write anything so this update definitely came later than it should have. But I'm back!

Also, since I started in a new school, I have new friends and one in particular has made me so happy, I will probably update more often due to that huge mood booster. Don't hold it against me, but I'm really trying. AND THANK, YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR 2K READS HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE
