After climbing up the stairs, we had to follow more blood. Eventually, saw the naked twins again. Thankfully, we had to hide from them for a short amount of time. But when we tried getting back, the floor board was unstable and breaking. My camcorder fell, but I was ok.

"Jump to me DJ," I called to DJ. "I'll catch you." DJ jumped to me and I caught him. I pulled him up with all of the strength I could muster. "Great. Now I have to find my camcorder."

"We don't have to," DJ replied. "We could just use mine. When we're ging through the darkness, stay close to me."

"Can I hold your hand so that I won't get separated from you?" I asked while blushing a little bit. DJ was relectant, but we both knew that we hated looking for things, so DJ said that I could hold his hand. I held it. "Wow. You got warm hands."

"Uh, thanks?" DJ replied. I'm pretty sure he noticed how cold my hand was. I blushed a little when I held DJ's hand. It was pretty warm and we never held held hands. That made me smile a little bit. Now, we had to find the preachers in the administration block. We had to drop down a hole to get to the floor below us. We had to evade Chris Walker, but it was easier because he stomped pretty loud.

After evading him, we ended up where we started, the floor that was above the lobby. We went over to the locked metal door where a Variant wanted to tell us something.

"Alright," He said. "The key to the house of God is in the theater behind the light. That's where you will find the card." The Variant heard Father Martin calling him, so he went upstairs while DJ and I had to find a keycard. We went into the theater where a video between an interviewer and a man named Rudolf Wernicke played. After the video ended, DJ and I went up to the projector and got the key. I actually thought it was a keycard, but it was just a normal key.

We went to the metal door and unlocked it. We had to go into a room with an opened window into the rain. After scaling the ledge, we entered the Asylum's chapel. We saw the naked twins guarding the door to the chapel. After opening the door, we saw Father Martin and Father Daniel crucified to 2 crosses. We also saw Variants praying, crying or doing both.

"Escape to tell everybody about what you have seen," Father Daniel spoke.

"The promise of prophets was freedom from death," Father Martin teared up. "And here it is. You will record and watch our deaths. Our resurrections. Do this and you will all be free."

"Father Martin and I fixed the elevator," Father Daniel teared up. "It will take you to your freedom." Then he paused and streams of tears fell down the faces of the crucified preachers. "Do it." 2 Variants bent down and set the crosses ablaze, burning the two Fathers.

"Damn," I silently spoke.

"Well," DJ replied. "At least we got some assistance. C'mon, we can exit this hellhole now." I followed DJ to the elevator. After getting in the elevator, the door closed and the elevator went down. Because the elevator ride took longer than expected, I decided to start a conversation with DJ.

"Well," I spoke, "I think I'm traumatized for life."

"Look on the bright side Tiny," DJ replied. "We didn't die in horrible and gruesome ways, we're still alive and we can escape this nightmare."

"When we get home," I asked, "I'm gonna have a lot of things to do. I'm gonna invite you and Herbert over to my house where we can watch My Little Pony, read fanfiction, write fanfiction, read Septiplier and more stuff."

"Ok," DJ replied.

"Honestly," I chuckled, "It's weird how 2 grown men are gonna watch a show for little kids."

"But that's how we roll," DJ replied. "If people don't like that, fuck them." Then the elevator stopped at the main exit. "Well, let's leave this place once and for all." We left the elevator and went to the front door. We opened it and we walked to my car.

"Thank God we are leaving this nightmare," I sighed happily. And with that, we drove off and left behind Mount Massive Asylum an its horrors that lie within.

Note: I know that this isn't the actual ending of Outlast. I decided to change it up a bit.
