"Dewfeather, I swear that's what she told me.." Twigbark's frantic words spoke to Dewfeather outside of camp. She looked thoroughly unconvinced, but for good reason. What cat in their good mind would believe a regular warrior was visited by Starclan?

"If you really think this, you should go see the medicine cat.." she said, tail twitching slightly. "I need to go back to the nursery, I'm feeling a bit odd.." she added before padding back to the camp. Twigbark sighed, and looked up at the clouds.

I've always wondered why I didn't look like them.. he though, thinking of Rosestar and Tigerstar. He should've suspected something from the very beginning. Even Pebblejaw and Pinepaw, they deserved to know. Pinepaw probably knew.. but he had to tell his sister. Did Tigerstar even know?

All these questions, and no answers.

What was his real birth name? What did his siblings look like? Did anybody in Aveaclan know about him? Or even in Juniperclan? Did Maplestorm know?

Such mysteries deserved answers. He deserved answers. He wished he could've asked Rosestar more.

He wondered if he had the digging skills of Aveaclan, and the climbing skills of Juniperclan. He toyed with the idea of testing it, but he decided to bring his dream to Fluffytail first.

Heading into the medicine den, he noticed a cat laying in one of the nests. Skyfeather was wounded. At first it seemed simple, a few scratches and bites. It was when he turned around the real shock came.

His lower jaw was gone. It was horrific. He never thought a cat could survive such an injury. He attempted to approach him, but was met with Springpaw's tail in his face. He backed up slightly, and decided to leave it be for the moment.

"Fluffytail, I need to speak with you, privately." He said. The medicine cat nodded.

"Follow me." She said, turning to a tunnel in the den. Twigbark was surprised he didn't notice it before. He followed her into the tunnel. She paused in a den big enough for at least five full grown cats.

"What's wrong?" She asked. Twigbark took a deep breath, and explained his dream to Fluffytail. She seemed skeptical, but gave her advice anyways.

"If you really think that Maplestorm and.. the other Fluffytail are you parents, then ask them. That the only way to know." She said, stretching out her front paws. Twigbark nodded nervously.

He didn't really think it was the best idea to just waltz into Juniperclan and Aveaclan asking for two warriors that may or may not be his real parents.

But he needed the truth. He wanted the truth.

No matter the cost.
