"We were supposed to be cooking. But, it looks like a murder occurred in here."  Jeramy commented as he gazed upon the mess he and Ryan had made.

"Considering we both know what a Murder looks like I would have to say I completely agree with your assessment." Ryan nodded taking the chicken out of the oven, "But hey, it's not our fault. Geoff is the one that made us cook. If anything we have him to blame and, and it's not our turn to clean the kitchen." the Lazy day vagabond tossed his head to the chore chart Jack had drawn up that was hanging on the fridge as he checked the temperature of the meat.

Jeremy picked his way over to the chore chart to check, yea his and Ryan's names were there under 'dinner' this week while Michael was permanently stuck under cleaning duty, Geoff was stuck under dishes, Jack was under bathroom for the week and Gavin, Gavin's name was under a column titled 'Participate in basic human needs' as it always was, Jeramy was pulling double duty on the chore list with his name under 'Make sure Gavin participate in Basic human needs' which he didn' have to worry about today because the bit was supposed to be out until three - wait. shit "Hey Ryan did Gavin come Home yet?"

"Yeah, he came home and went to crash, he was up half the night. Geoff came home half an hour later and went to join him." Ryan offered to watch Jeramy sigh. "Dinner's almost ready, can you go warn Jack and Michael to wake up out two sleeping beauties and set the table?"

Jeramy nodded sticking his head into the living room where Jack and Michael were curled into each other watching some shit move and making fun of it "Hey, can you guys wake up Plan G? dinner's almost ready." Jeramy relayed before heading to get the table set up with cups and plates. Michael padding in to help, leaving Jack to wake up the other two. setting the table was quick with two lads doing it. Michael had put down the last knife when Ryan started ferrying the food to the table, the other three came in halfway. Gavin and Geoff taking a seat as they rubbed the sleep from their eyes and Jack jumping right n to help. Dinner was as always, filled with small talk and some big talk, playful teasing and light hearted complaining, with some chast kissed and hearty laughs sprinkled throughout.

With stomachs full, they retreated to nightly routines, to showers or finishing up loose code or doing assigned chores with swears and grumbles until one of your five boyfriends came to help. The six of them regrouped again at Nine where they cuddled together to watch almost shit movies until they felt the need to retreat to their shared bed and to fall in line. Gavin somehow always ending up in the middle despite constant complaints of him always being nothing but elbows and knees (to tell the truth, on nights when the Brit is forced to the edge because of the stomach bug the bed doesn't really feel right until he's right back in the middle again.) Jack right next to him as the center of warmth with Michael on her Right and Geoff or Jeramy on Gavin Left to make sure the Brit won't sneak away to divulge into another bout of unhealthy insomnia. Ryan pulling on in the edge to catch maybe a few hours shut eye before he's pulled into wakefulness again. each other's arms and warmth protecting them from the things and memories that haunt their sleeping minds.

Their Nights were part of the few decidedly 'Normal" parts of these Criminals day. It's almost sweet in a way, and also dangerously humanizing to think of these cold hearted killers this way. It's why no one in Los Santos gave it much thought. better to think of the Fakes as monsters who never sleep and can't love anything but murder than to give them emotions and actions normal law abiding people do nightly. Made it easier to root for the Fakes deaths that way.
