Chapter 5 (Part 2)- Barg

Fuck... my head hurts so bad... where am I? I look around and see a barren roof except for a single chair and some ropes. It doesn't look like I'm even in the Kitan region anymore... am I!?

I begin to panic as memories flood my head. I had helped my brother and now I'm waking up laying on the roof of some building who knows where. I probably freaked out Em... ugh

I pick up my phone and the first thing that catches my eye is the date.

June 20 12917

It was the 16th when he got in trouble! I've been out for four whole days!

I scramble to unlock my phone and open my messages, seeing all my friends, and especially my girlfriend, freaking out about me. I have a single message from my brother telling me he went out of town.

Hey baby, I hope you're okay... I miss you
-Em<3

Umm... I haven't heard from you... you all good? I have important news...
-Ria

Hey, I had to leave. Peace. See you soon.
-Darg

I shiver and stand up looking up at the sky as a raindrop hits my face. Is it.. raining?? It hasn't rained here in years... it always snows... I start to walk home, my whole body aching from laying on the ground. I notice that my jacket begins to make me sweat so I take it off. It's warmer... All of the snow had melted leaving the ground wet. I look up at the sun seeing it through the rain clouds and sigh. My baby is seeing the same sun as me... we may be apart but we're still con- *bzzt bzzt* MY PHONE!

I scramble to check my phone and see a message from Ria.

OMG BARG! Oh god I thought you were hurt bad or something! It's been days what happened??

I quickly reply explaining what happened to my brother. As I walk the rest of the way home my mind wanders to Emarke. Hoping she's alright and waiting for her to wake up and see my message.

When I'm home I lay down on my bed to wait. I drift asleep, smiling with the image of my girlfriend in my mind.
