A Cold Night!

"How long until we get there?!" I whined like a three year old.  My bottom was in such discomfort. Seating for long periods of time wasn't my thing.

"Shhh" said Jake placing his finger against my lips. "You have to be quiet they might be able to hear you."

I gazed at him. He only wanted me to shut up but how could I? I was getting on a plane to go to Europe. Ive never been out of the country before.  We were running away from things that were supernatural with the main goal to kill me and to top it off I barely knew the guy next to me.

"Don't be a jerk. No one is going to hear. We are up in the air."

"You have no idea" he said with an inside chuckle.

It took all my senses to stay calm. All I wanted to do right now was to go home and hug my mom. Then get a piece of cake off the fridge.

"Your hungry" Jake said looking at me with caring eyes.

"Ummm no"

"I can hear your stomach growling like a dinosaur. Eat something."

I was hungry in fact but was not sure if I could keep anything down. I was so nervous.

Jake got his bag and offer me something in a bag. The smell very familiar.

"beef jerky? No thanks looks gross." I said backing the bag away.

"C'mon everyone loves beef jerky." he said getting a piece for himself. For some odd reason him eating it suddenly made it appealing. The way his teeth bit down that dried piece of meat made my skin shiver, it was so ferocious. God I was going nuts.

He smiled like he knew what was going through my head.

"What?"

"Eat something. Already your stomach growling it's driving me insane. You have no idea how sensitive my hearing is."

I ended up eating the jerky. Which I might apply my mouth was never going to taste it again.

When we finally arrived two gazillion years later we took a taxi. I couldn't understand anything. I just sat in the back and listened.

"We are here." Jake signaled the taxi to stop and took his wallet out to pay him.

I looked out the window expecting a building of some sort or some houses at least. To my surprise what was in front of us was a a forest.

"Ummm not trying to be offensive Jake but I think we are in the wrong place. You got us lost."

"No. We are here." I looked again. Trees as tall as a 10 floor building. Nothing but trees and nature.

"Are you sure theirs nothing but nature?" I asked him I for one didnt think we were here.

He just looked at me and pulled me colser to him and said.

"Look ahead of you and tell me what you see."

When I looked out the window again there was a big clear space and a huge mashion. It was butiful! There were other houses but not as big as the frist one. As we kept driving I started seeing people. They were starting to crowed  around the car.

When the taxic fanily left because of the crowed. We were surnnded by people. I wounderd if they to could change in to a wolve?

"Ok I hate croweds how come the frist time I looked no one and nothing was there and now theres people and house all over the place. Mostly around us?" I said getting a little upset that the crowed wouldnt let us pass.

"It's ok there just exaded to see someone knew. We dont really get vetters." He said, he was holding my waist to make sure I woundent get carried away by the crowed. I have to admite though, his hand makes my skin warmer also my heart it speeding up? Why? O, well nows not the time for this.

"Ok people, let them though." Some guy said, and every quikly backed up and we were able to get though safely.

"Thanks man that was a lot of help." Jake said. For some reason he tighened his hold around my waist. Why?

"No problem, So is this her?" The guy said looking down on me. Now that i can see his face. his not so bad looking but nowwhere as hot as Jake. But he has blond hair, brown eyes,looks to be around 6ft tall.

"Yup!" Said Jake, with happiness in his vocie.. Ok now i'm lost.

"So, someone going to start explaining anytime soon. Because I really want to make sure my mom is safe." I said showing how lost and iggated I was getting.

"Yes, right this way. I'll take your to the Aphla." The guy said and started walking. We followed and Jake never moved his had from my waist I guess I didn't really mind. O, What the hell I love it! I feel really safe. No, No, stop thinking like this. You got more importent things. 

"So everyone here in a werewolf?" I asked, it would make a lot of things make sence.
