Bringing my face up to my hands, I could feel the wetness of my tears. Wiping them off with my sleeve, I looked up to find myself back home.
You can't face Laney now, not after what you just did.
I barged in through the front door, finding Laney on the couch. With some shirtless boy. Touching her as if he knew every bit of her body by heart.
Hearing the door open, Laney stopped her actions and looked directly at me.
"Liam? I didn't think you'd be home so soon," she stuttered, pulling the nearest blanket over herself and the boy she was with. She had no shirt on.
She doesn't love you anymore. That's why she's messing around with someone. She hates you so much she had to wait for you to leave so that she could have him come over.
Without taking my shoes off, I marched up the stairs.
How dare she do this to us?
