The cats entered the camp. The two apprentices had returned to a den. The two warriors led Poppytail, Berry, and Stonehole into a small den. A brown and white she-cat was inside.

"Hollowstar. We have company." Caninefur meowed. Hollowstar lifted her head. She blinked, recognizing Poppytail. Her gaze moved towards the two others. Caninefur's tail flicked impatiently. "Would you like me to stay or not?" She asks Hollowstar. Hollowstar sighed,

"Could you fetch me Birdshade please?" Hollowstar looked up at Caninefur, because she was still laying down. Caninefur nodded, and left the den. Hollowstar sat up a little more straight. "Hm. Curious youths." She stared at the kits. "Who's are they?" She asked Poppytail. Poppytail wrapped her tail around the two as they sat down.

"A loner's.. but he's dead." She immediately says. Hollowstar had some expression in her eyes. Berry tried to determine the expression. She thought to herself,

Is that.. doubt in her eyes? She shrugged to herself. Birdshade had walked into the den.

"Y-yes, Hollowstar?" She tried to focus on Hollowstar, instead of staring at the loners. Hollowstar squinted at her with a look of disappointment. Berry thought again,

Did she expect more from her or something? Ah, what am I thinking, clans don't work like that right, Berry? Berry thought silently to herself. Hollowstar grumbled,

"I need to decide whether to invite these cats into the clan or not." Hollowstar looked at Birdshade. Birdshade nodded, as Poppytail gulped. Stonehole muttered to himself,

"Why would we need to stay in a clan? Clans are smelly and full of bugs! Probably." Berry's ears flicked. She stood quiet, trying to listen to what the medicine cat would say. Birdshade shambled her paws.

"Ah, Hollowstar. That is your choice to make. If you think we need more warriors, you could invite them. Otherwise, if you think they will just cause trouble, I suggest you do whatever." Berry heard the wind outside of the den sough. It's like it was saying something to her. Although, she couldn't tell what the wind was trying to tell her. She wasn't even sure if it was telling her something. She pushed her thought away.

"Thanks Birdshade." Hollowstar puled. Birdshade awkwardly nodded and left the den. Hollowstar turned back to Poppytail, Berry, and Stonehole. "What do you two think I'm going to choose?" She looked down at Stonehole and Berry. Their ears flicked.

"Huh?" They asked. Stonehole and Berry looked at each other.

"You are probably going to chase us out or kill us. That's what clan cats do, right?" Stonehole shrugged simply. Berry turned to him and pouted,

"I looked around, there aren't a lot of cats than mother told us their would be if we ever went to a clan. Maybe the clan leader or the whole clan would consider letting us join because we could learn how to fight for the clan!" She finished with excitement. Stonehole sighed.

"Possibly." He looked up at Poppytail. "Do you agree with me or Berry?" Poppytail blinked and smiled a bit.

"Stonehole, I believe both of your ideas are simply fantastic, but the most logical idea would be Berry's." Poppytail nodded. Stonehole looked at his paws, embarrassed. Berry squealed before Hollowstar could speak.

"Do we get to stay then?!" She looked up at the larger brown and white cat. Hollowstar nodded.

"It's decided. You will be a good use to the clan. Now, would you like to have clan names, or keep your names? If you want clan names, you will be apprentices and have a ceremony for becoming an apprentice. As for you Poppytail, you can keep your name and become a warrior of Hollyclan." Poppytail nodded quickly before Berry and Stonehole interrupted. Berry meowed,
