Chapter 9

Your P.O.V.
He walked right pass me and to the door.
I mentally cried for a few seconds, he opened the door without knocking and said, "DADDYS HOME!~"
Creepy dad... creepy.
I giggled as I heard Travis scream.
I got up, Charm following me.
We walked to my father who was confused and angry.
"WHY ARE YOU TWO IN MY DAUGHTERS HOUSE!?!?!" He barked.
I wrapped my arm around his shoulder, "Hi dad." I said and smiled at him.
"Oh dearie, snookums, pumpkin spice, marshmallow , sweetie pie, sugar hogger, fat nugget why are these boys in your house?" He asked really fast.
"Fat nugget!?!?" I said glaring at him.
"Well.." he chuckled.
I rolled my eyes and sat on the couch, Dante on my right.
"These boys are here, dad because they are my roommates. It's basically THEIR house. I just moved in a few days ago."I said.
"You live with BOYS!?!" He said glaring at Dante and Travis.
"Daaaaaaad, I've lived with ten boys alllll my life counting you!" I said.
He sighed, "Plus! It's my own decision! I wanted to!" I said proudly.
Screw you adult hood!
"Anyway... I came here to talk about our family.." he said with a frown.
"What? What happened?" I asked.
He sighed, "Can we talk..alone?" He asked,
I nodded, "You two, scram!" I yelled jokingly.
They nodded and left the house, and I watched them walk to Aaron's and Aphs house. Just so I know they are there and not spying on us.
I smiled up at my dad, and patted a seat next to me.
He shut the door behind him and sat next to me.
We sat facing each other, "I-it's.. it's your mother." He said with a frown.
"What about her?" I asked.
"She...she's slowly dying..." he said.
I furrowed my eye brows confused.
"What?" I asked confused.
"She's slowly dying.. the doctors said they don't know what she has!" He said, tears forming in the corner of his eyes.
"No..." I said and gasped.
He slowly nodded, "I am trying my best to help her, bringing her to any doctor I can find! But they all say the same thing. And she's dying faster and faster everyday!" He said, a tear escaping his left eye.
I wiped it away and hugged my father, "This must be hard for you.. no, this is hard for all of us. We just have to stay positive and try our best to find a doctor they CAN help us." I said now looking into my fathers eyes.
He hugged me, "Thank you... thank you honey..you're right." He said.
We let go of our hug again and decided to get our mind off of my dying mother, by watching movies on Netflix.
~~TIME SKIP~~
I waved bye to my dad, he waved bye back and got into his car, and drove off.
I closed the front door and texted Travis and Dante to come back if they want.
And sure enough they both walked into a house a few minuets later.
"What happened?" Travis asked curiously.
"Nothing.. we just talked." I said and smiled up at the two boys.
They nodded and sat down on the couch with me.
I was just watching a movie with Travis and Dante until, a huge knock came at my door.
I looked at it with a questionable look.
Slowly I got up, and knock came again..
I walked to the door and opened it.
Revealing an excited looking Pet.
"AHHHHHHHH!!!" She screamed in her fangirl way.
"What?!" I asked.
She held a flyer up, it was our favorite band.. F/B (F/B = Your Favorite Band!)
"THEIR PLAYING IN A FEW DAYSSS!!!" Pet squealed.
"YES!" I said pumping my fist into the air.
"ANNNND I GOT TICKETS!!!" She squealed holding up six tickets.
I gasped, "OH.MY.GOD! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!" I said.
She passed me one, "Here ya go!~" she hummed.
"Thank you for taking me!!!" I said and hugged her.
She hugged me back trying not to squeal in my ear.
"No problem!" She said and grinned, letting go of our hug.
"Who are ya gunna give the four tickets to?" I asked curiously.
She shrugged, "Shelia?" She suggested.
I nodded, "Yeah! I'll ask her in the morning!" I said.
Pet nodded, "Ok! Cya! I'll text you when I find out what DAY it is!" Pet said and grinned.
I giggled and nodded.
"Cya!" I said and shut the door.
I mentally fangirled and went upstairs to my room with Charm.
I flopped on my bed, and helped Charm up.
"I'm exhausted." I mumbled to myself.
Mom... please...I know your strong... you can make it out of this..whatever THIS is..
I closed my eyes and drifted off into a dreamless.
~~TIME SKIP~~
In the morning my phone was ringing, I picked it up and rubbed my tired eyes.
"Hello?" I said in my croaky morning voice.
"Hi Y/n!" Shelia said.
"Oh, hey Sheli!" I said and yawned.
"Sorry if I woke you... but... we have a problem." Shelia said.
"What is it?" I asked.
She stayed quiet for a few seconds before talking.
"...the vet clinic... there was a fire." She said.
My eyes widened, "What!?! Are the animals ok!?!" I asked.
"Yeah.. we got them out in time.. but when the fire was put out.. I could definitely tell this wasn't an accident." She said.
"You mean... someone purposely burned down our vet clinic?!" I asked terrified.
"Yes. You know we never tie our treated pets over night TO the cage! But... half of them were tied to the cage. I saw a recent looking cigarette on the ground, and our janitor would never miss something like that!" Shelia said.
"Are the police investigating!?" I asked.
"They basically said it's not important!" Shelia growled.
"What! How dare they! Animals could've been killed!" I growled.
"I know... will you help me out?" Shelia asked.
"To find out who did this?" I asked for clarification.
"Yeah.. and when we find the culprit, we'll take em to the police and prove the police wrong!" Shelia said.
"Alright. When do you wanna start investigating?" I asked.
"When our work shift is over." She said.
"Ok.. I'll be at work shortly." I said.
"Ok, cya." She said.
We hung up and I was still shocked.
WHO would do such a thing?!? How did they get in?
Who was it.
I walked down stairs and decided I'll tell Travis and Dante but.. not EVERYTHING. Just.. the important stuff.
This is awful.
Could it have been one of our workers!?!
I sighed shaking my head.
I'll have to wait until my shift is over..
