Cammi, what happened here?

Cammi's POV*

I can't see straight. I can't think. "Cammi! Tell us what happened!" That was Ryker's older brother Shane. "I.....I......." I couldn't get the words out. "Okay Cammi, take a few deep breaths and then try to explain what happened in the best way that you can." That was Marina. "Okay." I said. Then I started to explain.

"Shane messaged me about a half hour ago saying that he wanted to meet up at the park. Of course I said yes. He was here before I was, when I showed up he was sitting on the bottom of the slide with his hands in his pocket. He got up and kissed me. I noticed that while we were here there was a group of early college guys on the other side of the park just hanging out, so I ignored them. Ryker told me to close my eyes because he had a surprise for me, so I closed my eyes. I heard footsteps so I just assumed that he was grabbing something. After a minute my eyes were still closed and nothing was happening, so I said "Ryker? Are you still there?" And I got no answer. I opened my eyes and I couldn't see Ryker. All of a sudden I started hearing coughing and wheezing from behind that building over there. So I ran over there. Behind the building there was the 3 college kids and Ryker. They were beating him. So I ran in and put myself right in the middle. One of the guys threw me off to the side and that's why my knee is bleeding. After they threw me off I saw the one guy punch Ryker in the face for the last time and then they all ran off. I ran over to Ryker and he looked really bad. His nose was bleeding and he had 2 black eyes. His arms and legs were full of bruises and I think one of the guys had some sort of sharp object because he has cuts on his face, back and stomach. I called 911 when I opened my eyes and realized that Ryker was missing. They already came and left, he's at the hospital right now. Then I called you guys because I know that Ryker's Mom would get really worried and mad. So I called you guys so that you could take me to the hospital and we could all go there to see Ryker. I'm so sorry." I started to cry, I can't believe my boyfriend is in the hospital. "Cammi, don't cry. Ryker is going to be okay. Come on, let's go to the hospital." Marina said. I got in the back of Shane's car and we sped to the hospital...
