Newbie here. Off for a fresh start. Enjoy!

Monday.
As usual, Simon was on the foot of my bed licking my feet for me to get up. Oh wow, I have a pretty unique alarm clock. Great!
"Five more minutes Simon!" He barked at me trying to annoy me most, what a relentless dog. Simon is my dog from when I was still a toddler.
He is a black labrador retriever. So now you can imagine the slobber on my feet and the very loud barks.. I woke up in the morning having a major head ache from last night.
Last night was a total blur, I got home tired off my ass and had to climb a tree to get to my room for fuckity fucks sake. What am I doing with my life.
"Ah Monday! Great! School!" I lay down again and savored the comforts of my bed until Simon started barking again. Curse you silly dog for making a fuss, if only you weren't cute.
I had to get up, I know. I headed to my bathroom and stared at the shower for quite awhile, then I decide to take a shower and prepare for an oh so wonderful day at school. Sense the sarcasm people.
When I went down the stairs, I heard my mom and dad argue about something again. I didn't want to hear it so I skipped breakfast and went out as fast as I could. Atleast school seems a good place to be right now.
I was at school a little bit early today, there I found my guy best friend lounging under the tree. This was our usual spot.
"Why the long face?" He chimed. Meet my best friend Marcus Crawford, the hunky, goofy guy that I came to know. "It's nothing". He didn't seem to believe that so he asked again with a stern look on his face.
"Ki I know when it's something, and this clearly is something" he mused with a concerned look. "Urgh, why can you tell! Fine, it's my parents, arguing about something again." I said in complete honesty. "Now what's new now?" I just smiled at him.
"Tell you what, how 'bout we go to our favorite place in the whole world?" This seems to power-up my curiosity. "Cold Stone" he said. As those words left his mouth my bad mood lifted. "Your treat?" I said. He just replied to me with a smirk, definitely yes.
The first bell rang and we were heading for our lockers my other two best friends caught up with us. Namely, Caroline Bradley and Ravena Walters. "Finally, what took you so long?" They seem a bit excited for something. "Never mind that, guess what we got you!" They both said in unison. "What?" Just us Car was about to say it.. The stupid bell rang. "I gotta go, if Mr. Weatherbee catches me late again he'll kill me." With that, R and Car took off. "So I'll guess we'll see each other at lunch." Then Marc messed my hair and went off. Jeez what great best friends I have leaving me here. Well off to History class it is.
Finally the bell rang, that took freakin' forever! I met up with my friends at our usual seats. It was under the tree outside our cafeteria. I just realized, we do love places under the tree. I found Car chirping about something and R joining her, this seems new. Its not everyday you see those two getting along.
I finally joined them "what seems to be oh so delightful that you guys are talking about?" Marc butted in "It's about the con...." R seemed to cover Marc's mouth. "Hey what was that about? C'mon tell me" now I'm itching to know. "We'll tell you later at Cold Stone" R said with her gleeful smile. Hmm these girls are hiding something. No shit Sherlock!
Then when everything was going smooth at lunch, there was a ruckus. What's new now? Suddenly a Senior came running inside the cafeteria covered in blue paint. I don't seem to know his name for that matter, well I'm not good with names so.
Now we all know who's behind all of this. It's Christopher Adams, the famous prankster and also a bad ass of Lakeview High. Then the guy shouted "Where is Chris Adams?! Tell me!" Wow this guy got his panties in a twist! Suddenly the devil himself appeared. I know its a little bit harsh but whatever. Let me continue... With his devilish yet oh so melting smirk, wait what am I talking about?... "Looking for me?" Oh yeah the senior's name is Tyler, now I remember. Tyler came raging towards him, "I'll get you for this Adams! You will pay!" His words were enough to make a person hide and run forever. But the devil, oh I mean Chris, surprisingly didn't budge. "Oh did a little paint hurt you Ty-Ty?" Oh he is asking for it.
Oh these two baboons caught the attention of all the people in the room. People were chanting "Fight! Fight! Fight!" When Tyler was about to knock out that smirk on Chris' face, the Principal came in. What a total spoiler! "Adams! Smith! Detention after school! And all of you go back to eating your lunch!" With that everyone settled down. You don't want to mess with Principal Simons. She is terrifying and I'm not exaggerating this. Even the jocks are scared of her.
"I wanted to see some action!" R pouted. Yeah, typical Ravena, always on the eye out for action. "Huh that wasn't something new" Marc stated. "He always gets into trouble, no question there" he finished. "It was rather amusing" I finished with a laugh.
School was done then us four headed out to the wonderland of our likeness, Cold Stone Creamery. "It's been a long time since we last went here" said Car. "Yeah the last time we went here, Marc got his ice cream all over his shirt" with this R earned a stern look from Marc. "I slipped okay!" He added. "You didn't just slip you look like a freakin' mop for cryin' out loud!" Car blasted out laughing. "Oops" she covered her mouth. This made the three of us laugh, except for Marc, well this wasn't a good memory of him because the store was packed with people.
Ah good times, good times.
