Chapter 6 *Happy Pill
"Happy Birthday Ki! I got something for you, close your eyes". He said in utter excitement. I heard squeals from inside the box. "This isn't one of your pranks Riy, right?" I asked rather horrified. "No, of course not. I wouldn't do anything to scare you." He said in a puppy dog voice to tease me. "Let me recount those.." He covered my mouth with his hands before I could finish my sentence. "Yeah, yeah. The things I do to catch your attention." He stated.
I can feel that his blushing and my cheek is heating up. "I can see you smiling Ki!" He teased again. "Yeah well, it worked." I admitted. "Did it now?" He asked sarcastically. I patted him lightly. "Take off the blind fold." He said. I did as he said so then I opened my eyes and came across with a rather large box. It seems to be moving. "Go ahead, open it." I slowly moved my hands towards the box, I took the lid of the box then as the light met the inside of the box, I saw the cutest and most adorable thing in the whole wide world. "Riley! It's so cute! What should I name him?" I asked him gleefully. "Her... She's Maya." Maya is a golden havanese dog. She is so fluffly. Ahhh. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I hugged Riley and kissed his cheek. This gesture made him blush a bit. "You know why I love you?" I stared at his eyes as he said those words and smiled. "You make me happy and I know you're perfect for me."
I felt tears soak my pillow when I woke up the next day. "You still love him huh?" I asked myself. I can't imagine the day I won't. Have you ever had that feeling that your lost without that someone. This is how it feels.
