School

Taylors pov

"Do we have to go back?" Tommy asked ploping onto my bed as I packed my new school things into my new bag.

"Why do you hate school so much anyways?"

"Cause I'm forced to learn random crap that I will never use! Why do you like it?"

"Cause I get to learn interesting stuff and gain knowledge." I said flatly, cracking a smile.

"Fine I'll go complain to Justin!" Tommy maoned leaving my room.

"Justin likes school too !" I yelled after him.

"I hate smart people." he grumbled as he walked back past my room and down the stairs. "I'm outy!"

"Bye!" I yelled back laughing.

*The next morning*

"Every one get together for your back to school picture!" my mum and El said excitedly.

We all quickly got in a line with or arms around eachother.

"This isn't something to celebrate, I don't know why we're getting a picture," Tommy mumbled as Ethan and Jake made weird poses and our mums snapped some pictures.

"Now every one get in the car and get off to school!"

"Have a great day!"

"Please stay out of trouble."

Everyone chorsed goodbyes and good lucks and we piled into the car. 

Tommy sat in shotgun, Jake, Ethan and Mike sat in the back and Mckayla, Justin and I sat in the middle.

"Hey Steve!"

"Stevo!"

"Stevey!"

"Steve my main man!"

Every one yelled hi to our driver Steve. He is pretty much part of the family.

"So who's excited for school?" Steve asked starting the car.

"I'm not," Tom mumbled.

"Year ten is a big one," he said ignoring Tom.

We chatted for a bit about what we did while Steve was on vacation and what we expected for this next year of school.

"Are you ready for this?" Mckayla asked as we got closer to the school.

"Which part? The learning and hours of homework or-"

"Everyone including the school newspaper and radio asking us for every detail of our summer." Mckayla said interrupting Tom's complaints.

"Well asking for every detail of what these 'hunks' did this summer like how much they worked out," I said sarcastically.

"Oh shut up," Justin said shoving me as he opened the door.

I followed Justin out of the car then leaned back in to talk to Steve.

"School ends at 2:15 do you want us to ride the bus?" I asked

"Do you guys want to ride the bus?" He asked.

We were all silent.

"K I'll be here at 2:15," he said with a bit of a laugh before waving us off and driving away.

We all took a deep breath looking up towards the school.

"Nervous?" Tommy laughed.

"No," I said fixing his tie.
