Am i falling for him?

Tris POV

I got home tired as usual and I'm glad my dad was gone so I could tell four what's been happening. Just as I was about to head to my room, the doorbell rings.

Toby!He's here! I thought getting excited. Wait. I'm falling for him? Well he does have that sweet smile and HOLD ON! TRIS GET YOUR SELF TOGETHER.

I open the door and there he is. He smiles and says "hey Beatrice." He smirks

"It's tris" I complain

"I know I like playing with you" he smiles

"Ok well before I tell you anything want anything to eat or drink?" I ask

"Nope" he says popping the p

"Let's go outside and sit by the pool and I'll tell you the story" I sigh

"Okay"

Time lapse

By this time we are sitting with our feet dangling in the pool. So I'm done telling him and he seems shocked and hurt. I could tell he was gonna stop hanging out with me. I sighed and thought here goes my social life. But I was taken back when he gave me a bear hug. I was shocked but I hugged him back. There was silence but it was a comfortable silence. I smiled and thanked him. Just then I got up and pain shot through my back, I couldn't hold the tears back. Four immediately gets up and takes me In his arms.

"Are you okay?" He asks

"I'm fine" I say "I need to start enjoying life and accept this."

"You don't need to accept your abusive father" he says

"Yes I do toby, there's no way of getting out of it" I say

Just then to lighten the mood he pulls me into the pool with him.

I come up for air and we start bursting into laughter. We splash water on each other and go on till sunset. I guess you can say he's got me falling for him.

We watch the sunset together and it strikes me that I never appreciate the little things in life. Later we go inside and Toby slips, I start laughing uncontrollably and then I help him up.

"Oh be quiet bea" he says laughing

"You know that was the most halrious thing ever" I say while laughing

"Whatever" he says as he rolls his eyes.

"Here follow me I have extra clothes" I say while leading him to Caleb's closet

"Woah! This is huge!" he says

"I know" I say while giggling

"I'll be back once I change" I say

"Okay" he says

I go to my room and I see someone there. Oh no. My stomach drops. I see peter. I let out a piercing scream, I feel blood trickling down my arm. He shot my shoulder! he covers my mouth with his hand

"Shut up stiff!"

Toby rushes in and sees that peter has a gun pointed to my head.

"Stop!peter!" He says with rage

"You need to fuck off" peter says sharply

"What do you want?" Toby says.

"I want the........
