Mariam Leyla Altin was born on December 9th in 1981 at St. Joseph hospital in Bremen, Germany to a Turkish Albanian family.
She has to older brothers Kaan and Noah.
Her mother is Albanian and her father Turkish.
She speaks German, English, Turkish, Albanian, Dutch, Spanish, French and Arabic fluent.
She went to school in Bremen and had amazing grades. She started taking theater and music education at the age of 8.
She grew up being a Muslim but knowing about other religions like her own because her parents wanted her to grow up knowing about the main religions so she knows what they are like.
At the age of 15 she signed up for X factor by Simon Cowell and won the show in 1997 with the group 'Little mix' she was put in.
She always knew that she wanted to change the world show them that every human and every religion should be respected and try to be understood.
She ended her A Level in May 2001 and is going to start to study Law, French and psychology (well)
in University of St. Andrews.
