Jealousy

The ugly feeling of being envious of someone.
It's so ugly that you want to gag out the bile.
Roaring with such venom you never knew you had,
You hoped he comes back to you.
Looking at the pictures of the Two of them;
The beautiful girl and the ever so charming man,
Your heart clenches.
Gripping on to the hope that he will come back to you so desperately,
That you feel like you would die without it.

Singing your fears to yourself in your room,
Tears leak out from your eyes.
You squeeze them shut,
Hoping that your wounded heart would close off like how your eyes did so easily.

Your hands itches to call him,
Or perhaps leave a text.
It never did.
Like a free bird,
He visits other nests.
Forgetting the original nest he lived on.
It was a cycle,
Don't you see?
After a old nest,
He goes to another.
Leaving you to cripple in pain,
And hopefully die out of envy.
He didn't care.
He was happy this way.
He didn't care.

Jealousy,
What a beautiful feeling.
It shows you the darker side of love,
Where you feel so protective of someone else,
And realise you're in love.
In such circumstances,
You hold him so tight,
That you forgot to let go.
He was yours to keep.
And so were you his to keep.
The whole world was complete;
You two were in love.
And fell so deep in it.
