It's getting dark out. I turn my head and see the last flickers of sunlight fading into melting shades of orange, pink and purple outside my bedroom window.

I turn back to my laptop and continue playing the Sims. Oh, my Sim set fire to the stove! As I entinguish it, I hear something.

Plink!

My head snaps to my window yet again. Nothing. I turn back, watching the fire spread to my fridge and the baby. The smoke alarm is ringing and I can hear the fire truck in the distance.

Plonk!

I look over again. I let out an annoying groan before turning back. Yep, the baby is definitely on fire.

I pick up and throw another rock on the window. Why isn't she responding?

It's already late at night. I want to take her out somewhere. If only she would notice.

Umm, what? Kylienakalaylee literally just said that it only just got dark out. What do you mean it's late at night?
Sigh.
Those time-skips that no one tells me about.

Annoyed by the noise, I place my laptop on my bed then walk over to the window and unlatch it. I see Ryder outside, pebbles in hand.

"Come on!" I motion towards myself.

I slide out of my window and jump to the ground.

That's not as easy to do as you make it sound.
And wear your shoes, woman!

I help her on my bike after some hesitation from her. She's so scared. It's cute.

Now listen here, it's not cute when someone's scared, you sadist. Geez.
And the "every girl is scared of getting on bikes" thing is not true.
I might actually get back to this point soon.

I wrap my hands around his waist as the bikes speed off. I don't even realise that I've left my Sims baby to die upstairs.

I breathe.

I created a monster.
I want to cry.
