The first time I saw you

Chapter 1: Pha

I am having a bad day. 😠

We are supposed to have a basketball match today. I told Beam and Kit that I would meet them at the gym. However, upon arriving at the gym, I saw a commotion is starting to attract attention. A group of older students is trying to force our group to leave the court. Upon checking the Schedule board, I confirmed that the court is reserved for our group. I showed the schedule to the older students and suddenly there are punches being thrown everywhere. Of course, we didn't let them take advantage of us and we tried to defend ourselves.

After a few minutes, security and the teachers came. Even though we didn't start the fight, we still got reprimanded for it. Not only were we not able to play basketball, we also have to do community service for a week as punishment. Can this day get any worse?

After getting treatment for my bruises, I was walking to the parking lot to meet my driver. I want to hurry home, lie down in bed and just rest. My body hurts everywhere. Damn this bruises! Damn those seniors! I was about to pass the stairs when I heard a voice talking to someone. The voice is very soft and enchanting. I hid behind a wall and took a glance at that person. What I saw peaked my curiosity.

There is a boy sitting in the hallway and talking to, wait is that a cat? Yes, it is! He was actually talking and playing with a kitten. I continued to listen, as the boy's monologue seems to get more interesting. It looks like he is in a dilemma about what to do with it. He is torn between taking it home and risk being hurt by their dogs or leaving it here to fend for itself. He is talking to himself now and making all these cute facial expressions.

I am so tempted to go down there, introduce myself and just offer to take care of the kitten (I'll even give him visitation rights 😉). Finally, the boy has decided that he will take the kitten home with him.

I can't fight my curiosity anymore; I came closer and upon seeing the boy's face I was totally transfixed. Round face, pink lips, serene smile and a cute pair of bright eyes. The first time I saw him playing with that kitten, I fell for him. 😍
