No one noticed her loneliness.
No one noticed her pain.
No one noticed her at all.
How could they?
No one was supposed to know about (Name). For the sake of her safety, her parents had to keep her a secret.
After the death of her mother, her father was devastated. He convinced himself that it was all (Name)'s fault. If she wasn't born, they could've lived happily. Could've.
They were torn apart. A dangerous man found out about (Name) with the help of a rat, he threatened her father. He said he'd leak his 'secret' if he didn't agree to his conditions. The man was selfish. He wanted her all to himself just to feel superior. Even though he couldn't show her off, who wouldn't be proud to have a miracle itself in their hands?
Her father really cared about (Name), even if it was her fault that the woman he loved died. She looked just like her; (h/l) (h/c) hair and beautiful aqua eyes the colour of the ocean, the same as her mother.
All her parents wanted was for her to be safe. But with the risks they had taken, they didn't realise that it wasn't just their future they ruined- but the future of their daughter.
Her father couldn't do anything about it. He had to toss away his only daughter, after the loss of his wife. It was for her sake, he told himself.

Duncan Alastair was obsessed with the doll. He kept her all to himself, locked up in the same room all night and day. After all, it was his, now. It didn't last very long, though.
Soon, he got a new toy. He threw away the old, useless doll and left it to die. After everything he ruined to get it in his hands, he didn't care anymore.

Why?
She didn't understand what she did to make him treat her like this. The attention she was given wasn't pleasant either, but anything was better than the torture he put her through now. They didn't even give her food anymore!
To be forgotten and alone in the dark. Was that really how it would end? Would she die as the stupid doll that was played with and then ditched because they got 'bored'?
