Chapter 3 // Confused

I stood still, like I was a statue or something. I didn't move! I was flusterd. How? What? Why? I thought that something happend to us earlier, but I was clearly wrong!

"Gabi, are you okay?" Jade asked. "I'm fine, we weren't anything so. He can do whatever he wants with whoever he wants." I sighed.

And then, like she knew I was watching. She kissed him. He didn't pull away, he kissed her back. I was so angry! I don't know why but watching this, just made me so angry. Also it made me sad. Watching the guy I really liked, kissing another girl, right after we had a great time and maybe also almost kissed. It made me furious!

I started walking towards them. I didn't what I wanted to do, but I wanted to do something so that they'd stop! "Gabi what are you doings? Stop!" Jade grabed my arm and pulled me back. "No, Jade I have to do something!" "Why, you said you were fine, and that he can do whatever he wants with whoever he wants." "I know I said that, but they weren't kissing when I said that!" I said and pulled my arm out of her hand. I started walking again. "Gabi! Stop, don't do this! You will only emberace yourself and you don't want that. Do you?" She ran in front of me. "No, I don't want that. But I can't keep watching this!" I said and stopped walking. "I know honey, come on we'll go somewhere else!" She gave me a hug and we walked towards the gym field. We walked right pass them. I quickly looked to Jason, and saw he looked at me too. I looked away and tried to ignore what I just saw.

We sat down on a bench against the wall. "Gab, you sure you are okay?" Jade looked worried. "No I'm not okay. I know we're not dating but I still can't get over the fact that he would kiss someone else! Why would he do that?!" I put my head against the wall. "He maybe doesn't know that you love him! You need to tell him, I know he loves you to!" "He doesn't Jade, he just kissed Meghan. He never talks to me! The first time he ever talked to me, is today. In the bus and on the schoolyard! That's it!" I said and closed my eyes. "Gab, maybe if you show a little more interest in him. He will too! Or just say it to him!" "Jade! Oh my god, can you stop?! I'm not gonna tell him I love him! Are you crazy! He is popular, if I do that they are gonna tease me! I don't want that!" I said angry. "That you love who?" I heard a guy ask. I opend my eyes and saw Jason standing in front of us. "Oh my god, Jason what are you doing here?!" I said hysterical. "I wanted to talk to you." He looked me in the eyes. "About what?" I asked confused. "Something important." He looked at Jade. "I'm gonna leave you two alone. I will wait outside on you Gab." Jade stood up, and walked to the door. "Jason." She said, and smiled. "Jade." He said and knodded his head. He sat down next to me. "That you love who?" He asked again. "No one." I closed my eyes again and put my head against the wall. "Yes, you do. Tell me." He said strictly. "No one Jason, forget about it." I sighed. "What did you wanted to talk about?" I turned my head towards him. "Meghan." "What about her?" "You definitely saw me and Meghan kissing in the hallway." He said soft and looked at me. "Yes, I did." "It was not what it looked like." He said. "It was not what it looked like?! What was not what it looked like? You putting your tongue in her mouth, collecting every piece of DNA she has in her mouth? Oh no, it definitely didn't look like you were doing that." I said annoyed. "I didn't kiss her!" He said defencive. "You didn't kiss her? What the hell did I then see Jason? Your clone kissing her?!" I was starting to get pissed. "Gabi, you don't understand." "Don't call me that, only friends can call me that!" I said angry! "Am I not your friend? Gabi seriously?" He laughed. I looked at him with a death stare. He quickly stopped laughing. "What did I say Jason?! Don't call me Gabi!" "Sorry. But I'm serious! I didn't kiss her. She kissed me, I didn't want it! I couldn't pull away either, she pressed me against the lockers. I couldn't do anything!" He said. "I don't get it Jason, are you apologizing to me?!" I said surprised. "I guess I am." He said and smiled a little. "Why?" I asked and I crossed my arms. "I don't know? I thougt I needed to apologize." "Why Jason, we aren't anything. We aren't dating!" I said angry. "I want that to change." He said soft. "What?!" I was confused. "I want that to change Gabi." He said again and looked in my eyes. "You want what to change?" I asked soft, confused. "Us, I really like you Gabi! I really do, maybe we could be something." He said. "I don't know Jason, you never talked to me ever! Today you started talking to me, and being nice and stuff. And then I see you kissing with someone else!" I said. "I didn't..." "I know you didn't kiss her. But do you get my point?" I asked. "Yes, I do." He said. "If you change, start talking to me more. Start being different to me. Maybe, we can go on a date or something." His eyes lid up. "I said maybe Jason, don't get your hopes up to high." I said quicky. "I won't. But promise me you go on at least one date with me." He said. "I can't promise you anything Jason. We'll see." I stood up, grabbed my bag and walked to Jade.

"And what did you guys talk about?" She asked me immediatly. I told her everything we talked about. "GABI! ARE YOU STUPID?!" Jade screamed. "Ssht, Jade not so loud!" I put my hand over her mouth. "Sorry." She said scilent. "Are you serious Gabi?! You seriously said that to him? Are you stupid!" She said to me and looked idignant. "Yes, I want him to put some effort in this Jade. We were on this school togheter for what like almost 4 years now? And he never ever made a move on me Jade. Never. This is the first time he talked to me, and then he says he likes me and want to go out. I'm not stupid. He could make a joke you know!" I said. "You're right. But then, what's your plan? How are you gonna handle this?" She asked me. "I'm gonna play hard to get, tease him a bit. I want him to seriously put some effort in this Jade. I want to know if he was serious about everything he said!" I smiled. "Don't play too hard to get Gab. That can go wrong!" She warned me. "I know, I'm not gonna go too hard on him! I promise." "Great, I can't wait to see you two togheter. You guys would look awesome!" She smiled. "Oh my god Jade, it isn't even that far." The bell rung. "Come on, we have to get to class." Jade said and pulled me to Biology.
