- find somebody you REALLY trust. This can be a friend or a teacher. Mine was a teacher. It's always good to share your problems. I would often feel really bad, want to cry. But by talking to the teacher, i felt better. He would also often let me text my dad when i was on the verge of tears. He made me feel happy, which is why i strongly recommend finding somebody you trust to talk to.

-Being a young carer may lead to being bullied. It did for me. This leads to my first point, which is finding somebody you can talk to about it. But you need to be bigger than the bullies, tell them to stuff it. Do not them make you feel bad for caring about somebody.

-be proud of being a young carer. This wasn't a choice you was given, so there is no point of being ashamed. And your helping somebody. Your making a difference in their life. Be proud of it and be proud of yourself. Also, don't forget your not the only one out there.

-Find a local young carers club. I go to one and it makes me feel really good about myself and i have made some really good friends there. My one does chill clubs, which is where we meet up and just hang out with other young carers. We also get to go trips.
