Sabrina's pov

I arrive at Rowan's door with a bouquet of flowers and ring the doorbell.

Rowan opens it with a huge grin on her face and goes in to hug me. I stop her and gesture at the flowers.

"Awuhh babe you're so sweet!!" she says as she's about to grab them.

"Uhh these aren't for you" i say awkwardly.

"Huh? then who?" she asks a little confused.

"Your mom duh! where is she? i miss her and i havent seen her in so long and i wanna apologize for keeping you at my apartment for most of the day yesterday and stealing you again today."

"Awuhh thats adorable Sab. i almost forgive you for not giving me flowers. hahaha just kidding you know i love you, and you dont have to get me anything, actually in fact i got you someth--" she was cut off by her mom yelling and running towards me.

She tackles me in a hug and im a little shook but i hug back.

"Hey mrs. Blanchard! I miss you!" i say to the love of my life's mother.

"Oh Sabrina how many times have i told you! you can call me Elizabeth geez mrs blanchard makes me feel old" she says with a laugh.

"Well I always try to have manners, speaking of... these are for you." i say as i hand her the roses.

"Wow these are so pretty! Thank you but whats this for?"

"Well i havent seen you in a long time so i figured I'd do a nice gesture... and also because i feel bad that i kept rowan yesterday night and for most of the day yesterday and tonight and basically a lot of days before that, i bet you miss her running around the house all the time!" i giggle.

"oh wow you didn't have to. its good you and Rowan are hanging out a lot considering you were touring all this year basically. She missed you so much you have no idea. We all did!!" she says with a smile much like her daughters.

"Well i have to whisk her away again tonight is that alright?" i ask my future mother in law (hopefully).

"of course, take her for the rest of the year if you'd like." she answers with a laugh as Rowan yells "MOM!!" and playfully hits her arm.

I grab Rowans hand as we are about to leave the house.

"Wait. where are you two heading off to today?" she asks with a slight grin that dissapears quickly im sure i must have imagined it.

"We are going on a double date with Corey and Peyton." Rowan answers. I look at her shocked and she stares at me not knowing why i was shaken. But then she realizes what she just confessed.

"Date?" her mom asks with a smile.

"Uhh like a friendly date yknow? one couple and one couple of besties" i answer because Rowan apparently was still shook and couldn't close her mouth.

"Uh huh suree okay. have fun on your "play date" then." she says with an even bigger smirk.

"Umm okay bye Mrs. Blanchard it was nice to see you." i reply quickly heading out the door.

"Bye girls."

in the car

Rowan apparently is still in shock. I shake her and she looks at me.

"Ro are you okay?"

"What the hell did i just out us to my mom accidentally?" she asks.

"Uh well you might have but i mean it seemed like she supports us with the big ass grins she was giving us." i reply with laughter.

"but i didnt wanna tell her like that! and what if she doesnt actually support us!??!"

"Row, baby calm down its okay i think she knows but she didn't want to push us with questions cause she knew you wanted to tell her when you want to. And row come on when have you known your mom to not be supportive of you!? Elizabeth's a gem!" this seemed to have calmed her down and she looks at me with a smile.

I kiss her forehead and her eyes light up as if she remembered something.

"I have a gift for you i forgot! its not much considering everything youve done for me these past few days but i hope its enough for now."

"Row you didnt have to get me anything! and of course even if you gave me a rock id still be happy because its from you!" i say to her with complete honesty.

She pulls out a ring from her pocket.

"don't worry im not proposing.. yet" she adds with a smirk.

"This is just a promise ring. A promise that i will never lie to you. that i will always be by your side. that i will never leave you. that i will love you forever and that you will always be my best friend. I promise that i will always be there for you and to keep you safe and to feed youwhen you're hungry and to always love you unconditionally even if u piss me off at times " she says as tears start pouring down hers and my eyes.

"Baby i dont know what to say. i love you so much!! you mean the world to me." i say hugging her and putting the ring on.

"But fyi about the proposing thing. Im going to do it so dont even think about it." i say to her. She smiles and takes my hand as we drive off.
