Soon it was getting late and Dawn, Shane, and Richard went home. Jax had left to ready for the dinner. He refused to go but something changed his mind. I was now in my room deciding on what to wear after I had taken a shower. 

I didn't know Elena had a brother. Wonder who it is. 

Maybe this could be the payback.

"Yeah. I'll just flirt with Elena's brother and it'll make him jealous," I said. "My payback plan is in play." 

I handpicked a white Chiffon Dress with a matching necklace. 

I look hot. But whats new?

I checked my phone and I was right on time I went downstairs to where the outside was. "A limo!" 

I walked towards the limo and the chauffeur opened the door for me. I saw Jax sitting in the limo already before I gave the chauffeur a kiss on his cheek and they turned faint pink. 

I got in the limo and Jax was glaring at the chauffeur. 

This plan is gonna be a success. 

Jax last sat quietly on the limo. I was crossing my arms as I glared at him and he was staring outside the window. He was either ignoring me or just didn't notice me. 

He sighed and closed his eyes. 

"How long are you gonna keep glaring at me?" He said with a sigh. 

"Reasons,"I said in my best impression of him. 

"Hm," Jax said. 

"Why do you do that 'hm' thing?"

"Reasons," He briefly said.

I flicked him off and he opened his eyes again resuming to peer out the window. His fists clenched his suit jeans and I was puzzled. 

Was he mad at me or something? 

 I fidgeted, adjusting the strap of my dress and applying another coat to my already red lips. With nothing else to do.

"Vanessa Blake and Jax Hunter?" The waitress said.

We nodded. 

"Come with me," She said." We have reserved seats for you."

She sat us besides Elena. "Glad you two can make it," Elena said. "My brother is in the bathroom at the moment."

"I could tell you don't like me," I said to Elena.

"Your right," She retorts giving me a dirty glare. "I don't because you snatched Jax away from me."

"I didn't snag Jax at all," I crossed my arms. "I despise his ass."

"Oh, there's my lovely brother," Elena gestured. 

"Oh my fucking god!" I squealed. My jaw slacks in surprise. 

"V-Vanessa?" He says trying to retaliate what he was seeing. 

My heart cringed in my chest at the slyness in his voice.

"Are you gonna say something before he gives up on you?" Jax interrupted.

"A-Alec?" I bit my trembling lips, trying to give my words some firmness. Though I wanted to scream, my instincts told me that getting myself worked up wouldn't get me anywhere.

"How do you know Alec?" Elena hisses. 

"Vanessa baby-" Alec muster. 

"S-So whats on the menu?" I said not giving him any mind.
