" Change doesn't just happen.

It takes a long time. "

"Well, it'll only work if you want it to." Liam said as he pushed against Theo's hands, "Also you'll have to let me go."

Theo smiled and tilted his head, "Why should I?" He leaned in and looked into Liam's eyes.

Liam just glared, but his cheeks flushed slightly, "I can easily get out, but you'll have a couple of broken bones."

"And you'll end up against the wall again," Theo said with a smile and pushed his hands harder against the door before moving off him.

Liam rolled his eyes and dropped his hands and walked to his dresser, "I plan to- my plan. I don't have a plan."

"You want to make people trust me, but you don't know how?" Theo said with a chuckle as he watched Liam.

"I'm trying to do more than making people trust you," Liam said as he pushed off the dresser. "I'm trying to make you better."

"You're trying to fix me," Theo said as he crossed his arms, staring at Liam as he sat down on his bed.

Liam paced silently before speaking, "Okay." He looked at him, "What's wrong with that?"

"You can't fix something that isn't broken." He said with a small shrug, "I killed people and I have to live with it."

"But you don't have to live with it alone." Liam walked up to Theo and looked down at him.

Theo chuckled, "Everyday-" He flashed his blue eyes, "-I'm reminded of the people I've killed. No one in Beacon Hills trusts me."

"I do," Liam said suddenly. It was a much different answer than from what he previously said about trusting Theo, "I trust you."

"You said earlier that you didn't trust me. And one person isn't enough." Theo grabbed Liam's arm and sat him down, "Scott won't trust me, Stiles won't trust me, Lydia won't, Malia won't, Mason won't. No one. I'll have no one."

"You'll have me." Liam said and put his hand on top of Theo's, "I mean if you left you'll have no one."

Theo stood up and looked down at Liam, "But I'll be able to start a new life."

Liam shook his head, "You can't just start a new life. It's not that easy." He stood up, having to look up at Theo even if he was standing or sitting, "Why leave to go somewhere where you know no people when you can stay here and gain the trust of everyone?"

Theo leaned closer, "Like you just said, it's not that easy. Scott hates me. Your Alpha hates m-"

"I don't hate you." Scott said from the doorway, leaning on the door frame after opening it, looking down at the floor, "I don't trust you. There's a difference."

Liam looked over at Scott and sat back down, not wanting to be just inches from Theo's face, "How long were you there?"

Scott raised his brows and walked in, "Only long enough to know that Theo wants to leave and start a new life."

Theo rolled his eyes, "Let me guess, you would like that."

"No." Scott said as he shook his head lightly, "I want to trust you, Theo, I really do. But you've killed people, and I don't trust killers."
