" They always say time changes things,
But you actually have to change them yourself. "

"Don't fucking touch me!" Liam yelled as Theo grabbed his hand. After what he did in the school hallway before class, he didn't even want to be around Theo, let alone have him holding his hand.
Theo raised his hands in defence and rolled his eyes slightly, "Liam, chill. Why can't I just hold your hand?" He asked as he put his hands into his pockets.
Liam stared at Theo for a couple seconds before dragging him into an empty classroom and pushing his back against a wall, "Seriously?! I can't believe you." He scoffed and shook his head before looking away, "You basically force me to kiss you on the lips in front of an entire hallway full of students, one being gay and telling me that it's great that I'm gay. And after all that embarrassment, you think I want to hold your hand?"
For a moment, it was completely silent. All any supernatural creature could here was both their heartbeats, Liam's racing a little faster and Theo's remaining the same as always. "Liam, I know you want to make Scott trust me again, and I appreciate the gesture, but do you think any of what you're doing right now is helping?"
Liam wanted to answer right away, but after giving it a second thought, he realized that Scott wouldn't trust him unless the pack trusted him. Not just Liam, but the entire pack. Was pretending to date him the only way? Or would it just make everything worse afterwards? They would have to tell everyone they were faking which would just lose the trust that Liam just built for Theo.
"No. You realize that we can't pretend to date because then it would be pointless." Liam said quietly and moved away from Theo. "I'm useless. I can't even get Scott to trust you, how am I supposed to do anything when he leaves?"
Theo watched him carefully and then frowned slightly, "You're not useless, Liam. Fuck Scott. Just because he can't trust someone, doesn't mean you should stop trying."
He turned his head and looked back at Theo, "What happened to you not wanting me to do this and to just let you leave Beacon Hills?" Liam asked as he crossed his arms.
His brows raised slightly and he chuckled, "Maybe I'm starting to like you." Theo moved his hand to Liam's again, only making him pull away and growl, "Come on. Just hold my hand."
Liam clenched his jaw and then rolled his eyes and moved his hand closer to him, "God, I don't know why I'm doing this. It's just going to turn to shit in the end." His head dropped slightly and he closed his eyes.
Theo pulled him closer, making Liam's head rest on his chest, his hand moving to rest in the small of his back, his other hand still connected to Liam's, "You're a nice person, Liam. I'm sure after what you've done in your last school, some people wou-"
"Wait? You know about that?" He asked as he lifted his head and looked up at him, "Were you stalking me? What the hell?" Liam said and his hand loosened a bit.
He chuckled and shook his head, "No. Of course not. Scott told me when he actually trusted me." Theo said and just pulled him close to him again, leaning down to whisper in his ear, "You also have a temper."
Liam pushed against his chest and then huffed, "So what if I have a temper." He dragged Theo out of the class, making him smile that they were still holding hands, "Stop smiling."
Theo sighed and then shook his head, "One of us has to look happy." He said as he moved beside him more, "Come on. Smile, Liam."
He shook his head and just shoved his hand into his pocket, "It's lunchtime, so either we go somewhere alone or go to Scott." Liam said, moving his head turning as he looked around for Scott.
