You like it

You look down at the fire

The people drowning in it

It's something you admire

To you, a glorious pit

You sit at the edge

Why do you want the fire?

You wait to make your pledge

You stare at the fire

You reach in your hand

And embrace the pain

People wonder how you stand

They don't understand it's in vain

You think you like the agony

The agony you don't know

You are leading yourself into tragedy

You want a painful blow

You sit at the fire again

You see those in pain

You want it

You think you have tasted it

So you jump in

and then you realize

the pain is real

and it hurts

you scream

you thrash

you try and get out

but you can't escape

You chose this
