Journal Entry 2: Date Log
2166, Hopefully the end of Vandal Savage.

Today is the day. Well night. Okay wherever the hell we are going in time. ... After we all had to "abduct" our younger selves from Time to keep The Pilgrim from killing us. ... We have no clue where Vandal Savage will be next.

We can't really hit Savage in the past again. We all techinally don't have a past anymore. So Captain Hunter wants to travel to 2166 at the peak of when Savage is in control of the world. ... He even murdered Rip's family, his wife and son. ... I wonder what will happen after Vandal Savage is erased from time. Everyone will want to go back home, but I don't have a "home" to go back to anymore.

... Things really, didn't turn out well for me. I knew what was going on when I left. I left specific instructions for Oliver to fake my death. It was the only way to keep Damien Dark from trying to kill me, though I'm sure I'll probably run into him again during my trip with The Legends, I'll just have to be careful. Anyways,.. thanks for letting me have a place for my thoughts, Journal.

We prepared quickly to make the time jump to London in 2166, immediately we were bombed with missiles and whatever else Savage's forces had. ... Rip explained by now that Savage literally almost control all of the world.

I wondered if this was a good idea or not. We all could die here. I mean "technically" I'm already dead. But Sara doesn't know that. I'm still here. And maybe I'll just have to make my own future that isn't written.

... We landed the ship and I stayed to help Sara. The others met up with a Resistance Force that wasn't under Savage's control. Luckily we persuaded them to welcome us with open arms. London was a mess, everything was decimated, fire ran down with glory. It reminded me of what I saw in Star City, 2046. .. There was minimal people and children that made it alive. They had all lost everything, their food, their home, everything even almost all of their spirit. ... That's what Professor Stein and Jax told me. I had to help. I helped gather a few provisions and gave them to the people. It wasn't much, but hopefully it could be something to help.

I hated seeing this city like this. This time. This "Vandal Savage". I knew Kendra wanted revenge for Carter and her, Snart and Mick wanted a good fight, Jax would do anything with Professor Stein as Firestorm, and Rip wanted revenge for Savage killing his wife and son, and honestly I don't know why Sara wants to fight other than being "The White Canary" and her bloodlust. Honestly. I guess sometimes I wonder why I still fight when I don't have to. (But I'm losing focus here).

...

We snuck into a big meeting that Savage had in the city, the woman he was with made us out. But luckily Snart was able to kidnap her back to the Waverider. We later learned that she was indeed, Vandal Savage's daughter. I wondered how a cruel man like that could even quote "love". ...

We also found out that the bracelet the daughter, Cassie had been wearing was from the Night of Kendra's first death over 4,000 years ago and she could use it to kill Savage. Any artifact that could be used actually. We had a knife but Savage sort of stole it. ... But now Kendra can make a weapon and we can have the big fight and save the world. While we were gearing up to find Savage.

He sent a huge giant robot after us. We couldn't fight it. Well one of us can. Ray volunteered to use his Atom Suit and go out there. "Are you sure this is even going to work?". Laurel asked. "Well it better". Rip replied. "Brace yourselves". ... Snart was able to turn Cassie to our side. She said she always thought that Per Degaton released the Armageddon Disease to kill the world, but actually Vandal Savage released it, he was the only suppose to be the teenager's tutor.

Cassie went to meet Savage. But he made her out instantly because she wasn't wearing the bracelet. Rip, Mick, and I showed up to help her fight. "I've been waiting to kick this guys ass!". Laurel laughed as she spoke up ready to use her Canary Cry. ... Kendra took on Savage while the rest of us fought off the guards, they kind of looked like Diggle's Spartan costume.

... Kendra was about to kill Savage but a guard stopped her. She realized it was Carter when his helmet fell off and he was knocked unconscious. Savage told her he had no memory of her or his past life. He told her that if she killed him, that Carter's mind would be lost forever. What kind of sick twisted choice of fate is that?. ... So the best we could do was capture Savage and hold him in the containment area of the ship.

Part 2 Summary,
Journal Entry 2.1: Date Log
The End of The Masters, And Death of a friend.

We managed to get Savage to The Vanishing Point in order to try to remove him from the timeline, but it turns out that The Time Masters were in league with him, they teamed up. Apparently there's something else major that happens in time and they need him to stop it. Luckily thanks to Snart and Sara, I hid with them. ... We managed to save everyone but see, in order to stop The Time Masters we needed to blow up The Vanishing Point and someone had to stay behind to do it. ... I found out that it was supposed to be Ray that died but Mick wanted to sacrifice himself to save Ray, but Snart couldn't let that happen. I heard everything through the com in my ear aboard The Waverider. "I've lived my life!". Snart's voice echoed. And then I heard a huge explosion and he told Sara to get everyone out of there. He died saving us. He was a hero, I know that's probably the least thing he wanted to be remembered as, but he was a good friend and a good teammate. ... I hope you found peace, Snart. ... -DLL,BC (Dinah Laurel Lance, Black Canary)

The reason I stayed back on the ship was because The Masters knew what happened back in 2016. I haven't told anyone that I knew what happened when I left. I left specific instructions to Oliver for him to know that I wasn't coming back. I even had talked with my Dad whenever I saw him again after we had to abduct our younger selves, even though my quote younger self didn't get abducted. ... I make my own choices, they can't defy my thoughts or my actions. ... I just hope that Sara doesn't freak out when she finds out that I'm not going back home.
