The Crisis from Earth X had invaded onto Earth 1 now and all she could do is sit there and watch. Laurel so wanted to help. But she couldn't. She had to stay hidden. No one else could she was alive again. No one.
She wondered how long it had been since she had been gone from 2016, now 2017. She wondered if they even missed her. How her dad was?. How her friends were?. But she made her choice. She knew that Oliver and Felicity knew about the notes. Well she left a different note for each of them. Only Felicity and The Legends knew the truth. She knew if she had said goodbye in person that she wouldn't have been able to go through with it.
She stayed in a room on the ship and waited for the fight to be over. Gideon gave her play by play until she got sick of it and made Gideon show her what was going on. A video through the timeline. "God, what is the world coming to". "Evil doppelgängers, Hell. What's next?". She knew about her evil Doppelgänger, Black Siren. But she never met her face to face. She just knew what she had done. Laurel quieted the sound around her even though her room was literally sound proof and hand print protected so no one could know she was hiding. Gideon designed it that way for her. If the bad guys knew she was alive. Then she wouldn't have her do-over. She heard a soft woman's voice speak to someone else on the ship. "Felicity?". Laurel sniffled. "Is that you?". Her thoughts silenced. "It doesn't sound like you've changed at all". She smiled and wiped the tears from her eyes.
