Prologue

CHAD'S POV

Pabaling-baling ako sa aking higaan. Hindi ako makatulog kahit alas-tres na ng umaga. Devil's hour, ika nga nila. Siguro ay namamahay na naman ako.

It has been ten years...and I can't believe that I'm finally back here in Hacienda de la Vega. This mansion had left me a lot of memories.

Happy and depressing memories...

At dahil tanging boxers shorts lang ang suot ko ay nagsimula na akong ginawin. Kinuha ko ang puti kong t-shirt at isinuot ulit sabay buntung-hininga. My normal body clock hasn't returned yet, at meron pa siguro akong jet lag from my flight from Qatar early this morning.

My stomach rumbled. Maybe a little midnight snack could help me out in this insomnia.

Nang bumaba ako sa hagdan ay sinalubong ako ng kadiliman. This house is too huge for me to know which part of it I am heading to.

Nagpatuloy ako sa paglalakad, and I was about to switch the lights on na nakapa ko sa pader, nang may biglang nakakuha ng pansin ko.

May asul na ilaw sa bandang kusina, illuminating the whole room. Who could still be up this late?

Dahan-dahan akong naglakad papunta doon, at umilaw ang aking mga mata nang madatnan ko ang isang babae na nasa harap ng malaking ref. Nanggagaling pala iyong asul na ilaw dito.

Halos nakatuwad na ito habang may hinahanap sa ibabang parte ng ref...

Nakasuot lang ito ng malaking blue polo shirt na hanggang sa itaas ng tuhod ang tabas, at nakatupi ang mga manggas hanggang sa itaas ng siko nito.

Bumaba ang tingin ko sa mahahaba at makikinis nitong legs...Kaunting angat nalang ng damit niya at makikita ko na ang pwet niya.

Nakasuot kaya ito ng panloob? Sweats started to pop out from my pores when I tilted my head lower.

And lower...

Lumalakas ang pagkabog ng dibdib ko.

Malapit na...

Shit.

Napaigtad ako sa gulat nang bigla itong napatuwid ng tayo sabay kuha ng fresh milk na nasa karton. Napasandal ako sa pader at naghalukipkip habang hinihintay na humarap ito sa akin.

Sino kaya ang babaeng ito at ano'ng ginagawa niya dito?

A bedspacer? Or a...housemaid? Nah.

Imposible namang si Athena ito, ang stepsister kong mataba at pangit dati who was almost eight years younger than me.

It was ten years ago since I last saw that little brat who made my life miserable here. At this time, she might be, what, nineteen? I bet she's still stubborn, and ugly.

There was a slight spill of the milk from her lips, and the liquid crawled down from the curve of her jaw, down to her neck, and to the teasing depression in the middle of her chest...

"Kuya Chad?"

I blinked and was pulled back to Earth when I heard her voice. It was husky, and sensual...

Umakyat ang mga mata ko sa mukha niya, at kung sa mga babae ay nahuhulog ang mga panty nila, pwes, sa'kin ay tila nahulog ang manipis kong boxers kasabay ng mga panga ko.

My heart thumped loudly against my chest. She looked achingly familiar...

And then it hit me.

"A-Athena?" nauutal na sabi ko.

Shit, is this really her?!

They have the same eyes, and cute pointed nose, and those lips. But she looked so much different now. Thinner and more defined cheeks, longer black hair, and a body that could launch a thousand...not ships, but airplanes, para maiba naman.

But how?

Her name should be Aphrodite, not Athena, because it was like I'm staring at the goddess of beauty herself.

Pinukulan niya lang ako ng masamang tingin sabay punas ng gatas gamit ng likod ng mga daliri niya mula sa mga labi niya.

"W-wow. Is that really you?" nauutal pa ring sabi ko sabay hakbang papalapit sa kanya. I can't believe puberty had been really good to her.

Nakatingin lang ito sa akin na parang naiirita. And the way she looked at me is so different from the way most girls do.

Hindi ba ito natutuwa sa nakikita nito? Na mas lalong gumuwapo at macho ang ultimate crush niya after all these years?

She is just looking at me with one perfectly-shaped eyebrow raised and hard-pressed lips.

I know that look. Lagi niya akong pinupukulan ng ganoong tingin dati everytime she was mad at me. She was about to say something when...

"Babe? What's taking you so long?"

Sabay kaming napatingin sa direksyon ng isa pang boses. May isa pa palang babae na biglang pumasok sa kusina. She was also wearing an oversized tee and apparently nothing undernearth...

Dumaan ito sa harap ko at lumapit kay Athena without even acknowledging my presence, as if I don't exist.

What they did next had caught me off-guard.

Athena grabbed the other girl's face and kissed her on the lips, and I even clearly saw the silhouette of how she sucked and bit the other girl's lower lip against the glaring light from the fridge.

Athena then glanced at me, with her perfectly-shaped lips curving up into a shadow of a proud smirk.

"Nice seeing you again, Kuya Chad." bati nito sa'kin bago nila ako iniwan sa kusina na nakatulala lang sa dilim.

Nahulog lang ulit ang mga panga ko. Kung nananaginip ako ngayon, hindi ko alam kung gusto ko nang magising, o gugustuhin ko pang ipagpatuloy ang mga pangyayari...

Tama nga ang sabi nila, 3a.m is the devil's hour, and in my case, the devil is my bratty little stepsister who has transformed into a sexy brown-eyed goddess who is some sort of a...lesbian?
