Base, Sweet, Base.

You stretched in your VOOT ship as you woke up from your nap you had taken. A loud blaring alarm was going off. You winced turning to look at your center console.
"Computer." You said. "What's going on?"
"Nearing earth sir." It responded, turning the alarm off. You smiled and looked out your front dash, seeing the incredibly blue planet nearing. You took back the controls and switched off auto pilot. It took a few minutes before you were able to get into the atmosphere, but once you did and you started to near a city and your eyes widened. A large smile played your lips as you quickly set your tracking device to search for Irken equipment. You sat back waiting for it to get results.
Bing, bing, bing.
You looked at the map that was presented before you. A few cities over there was two results. One was moving and the other was stationary. One must of been his base and the other must have been him.
"Zim." You said. You always found Zim... amusing. He was different from the others, stupid yet stubborn. The other Irkens made too much sense, they were boring and useless but Zim? He would be fun to mess around with. The smile on your face stayed as you set a point on the map to go to the stationary dot. It took less then a second using warp speed and you found yourself above a green house. It had a purple roof and wires connecting it to either one of the houses next to it. Multiple different yard toys littered the front entrance, and it was actually very small. It was rather late and you didn't see anyone around. Pulling out a small tablet from the center console you searched through disguises. You had been here before but not for long, though you slightly understood its culture. You eventually decided on a girl with (h/l), (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes. With (skin/c) skin. Smiling to yourself you pressed enter, and pushed it back into the console. Two parts of a pod came down from the ceiling engulfing you. You only saw black for a second before it started to hurt. You grunted as it spit you back out and looked at yourself in the mirror. You smiled satisfied with your new look, and slowly started to land in his front yard. You hopped out as soon as you did and pressed a small button on the top of your ship. A screen came out of the back asking you what you wanted to disguise it as, after a little bit of searching you decided on a cell phone. The screen retracted and your ship started to fold in on itself until it was a phone on the ground. You picked it up and dusted it off putting it into your pocket. You walked towards the door, knocking to see if anyone was home. It took a second but a high pitch, slightly robotic voice came from inside.
"I'm commmming!!" It said. The door opened to reveal a... green dog? Well not really it was obviously a disguise. "Oh, hello lady!" It said.
"Hi! Is Zim here?" You asked. Knowing full well that he wasn't.
"Nooooo. You can come in and wait if ya want!" It said moving out of the way to allow you inside. Well.. that was easier then expected.
"Oh, thank you." You smiled at the.. strange, dog thing. It only nodded and closed the door as you entered. You looked around, from what you could see there were at least two rooms. The one you were standing in had a tv to the right and a green couch to the left, above the couch was a oddly disturbing picture of a...earth animal. You knew pets and a few more exotic creatures but that thing was just weird looking. You walked forward into the other room as the "dog" sat down on the couch. This seemed to be a kitchen area. A table was to your direct right and in the corner was a fridge. To your left was a garbage can and some counter space along with a sink. In front of you was a.. toilet? Usually the toilets aren't were you eat in a normal earthen house but you had to give him credit for trying. Plus Irkens don't use the restroom. You turned back around to face the dog on the couch. It looked and waved at you. Walking forward you sat on the couch looking at the tv. A stupid commercial was going on for a acne cream, another thing you'll need to research. You turned to the dog.
"So... what's your name?" You asked it.
"My name is G.I.R! What about youuu?" G.I.R asked tilting its head.
"Names (Y/n)." You said smiling. "Do you have any idea when Zim might be home? I really want to talk to him." You smirked.
"I don't know!" G.I.R said simply attention now back on the tv. You sighed and leaned back on the couch watching the tv as well. He'd get here sooner or later. You smiled to yourself thinking if Zims reaction when he would see you. Of course you two knew each other you graduated out of the same class. He hadn't seen you sense you left Irk though and you had no idea what his thoughts on you were now. You had only caught sight of were he was when you accidentally tuned into the "Impending Doom 2" ceremony thing, and even then you waited a year to even think of going to see him. You had recently done yet another crime with a planet that had an Irken alliance so you had to stay low. Did you know if Zim would turn you into the tallests or not? No. But you were willing to bet he would try. This really would be fun. You almost jumped when Zims voice came out of G.I.R  next to you.
"G.I.R! Hurry up and get over here!" He yelled as G.I.R sat up. You heard another person in the background say something to the degree of 'You'll never get away.' "Hurry!" He yelled.
"Yes, sir." G.I.Rs voice dropped in pitch as he saluted and jumped off the couch. You smiled and did the same.
"G.I.R! Can I go with you?" You asked. He froze and slowly turned around.
"Yeah! Of course!!" He smiled and ran to hug you. You were confused before you heard his body start to hum. That sounded like...rockets? Suddenly G.I.R and you were out the door and flying towards the sky. You smiled. So he was a  S.I.R bot! You pulled out your phone and shut off your disguise. It would be a pain to get on later but you could deal. G.I.R landed in a alley way and froze. He looked both directions.
"Master is... that way.." he looked to the left. "But tacos...is that way..!" He looked to the right. He seemed to struggle with these two thoughts for a second before screaming and running to the right. Okay... maybe he wasn't the best S.I.R unit. You're thoughts were cut off when you heard Zim talking with someone. You looked to the left to see Zim pinned to the ground a horrible disguise of a simple black wig and eye contacts on. And a boy with a comicly oversized head, black hair, glasses and a trench coat on top of him. Holding Zim's hands above his head.
"Let go of me! You filthy Dib-pig!" Zim yelled struggling under the 'Dib-pig'.
"Ha! I've got you now!" The boy said reaching for something in his pocket. You smiled grabbing your gun from your belt. It slowly unpacked itself as it was in its compound form before. You walked forward cloaked by the darkness of the ally way. Your gun was fully out now and you pressed it against the side of the human boys head. He gasped and didn't move.
"Hey there." You said. "How about you sand up and let him go?" Zim also gasped hearing your voice. The human slowly let go of Zim and stood up. Sweat was rolling down his face as he tried to get a good look of me. Zim sat up and rubbed his wrists before fully standing up. He also looked at me. I stepped out into the light, and the human gasped.
"Another one?!" He said pointing at me. "Is the armada already coming?! Am I too late?!" He said more to himself then us.
"(Y/N)! What are you doing here?!" Zim asked.
"Saving your sorry butt apparently." You said putting your vacant hand on your hip while still holding the gun to the boys head.
"I never asked for your help!" Zim yelled at me. I rolled my eyes. "Besides what would a traitor like you want with me?! ZIM!!"
"Yes we all know your name! No need to yell it like that geez." You said in a mocking tone. "What I can't visit an old friend?" You asked smirking at him.
"Friend?" The boy said.
"Yeah, friend?!" Zim balled his hands into fists. "We are not, and never were 'friends'!" He yelled.
"Aww. My feelings." You put your hand to your heart and stuck out your lip. "Also human does not look good on you Zim." You said with a smile.
"Silence! Leave this moment!!" He yelled. Pointing at you yet again.
"You do realize that I just saved you from being caught by 'Dib-pig' over here and G.I.R ran off for tacos. Right?" You said with a. Slight 'hey!' coming from the human. Zim grunted.
"Whatever! I'm going home!" He said turning round and walking down the street.
"Hey-" The boy stepped forward about to run after Zim but you stepped in front of him, with a smile.
"Follow us and I'll blow your brains out kid." He froze and you put your gun back on your belt. "Bye!" You waved and ran towards Zim.
"Go away." He said.
"Aww Zim. You can at least act a little happy to see me!" You said crossing your arms as you walked next to him.
"Go, away." He said with more iteration this time.
"At least give me a hello or ask how I got here."
"Go! Away!" He turned to face you, anger in his eyes.
"Nice to see you too old buddy." You playfully punched his arm and he let out a loud grunt of frustration.
"Why are you even here?! Don't you have some people to slaughter?!" He said crossing his arms and continuing to walk forward.
"Oh come on! Killing isn't my only past time!" You said pouting. "Plus you have more Irken blood on your hands then mine! You destroyed the capital in Impending doom 1!" You jabbed a finger at him.
"That was an accident! You do it deliberately!" He glared at you.
"I haven't killed an Irken in 3 years sense the first time it happened!" You shot back.
"Yeah?! Well I don't need you here! You'll only slow down my mission!" He turned to you now blocking your path. "Listen, (Y/n), I never liked you, I never considered you my friend, and I will never allow myself to associate with such a-a!" He tried  to think of the right word only to  let out yet another grunt of frustration and kick a nearby can. You were silent for a second, before smiling at him. He really did miss you. If he didn't he wouldn't be going through all this trouble to explain why he wouldn't need you. Once you got passed his tough shell, he was pretty easy to read.
"Alright, alright. I get it. But I have no were else to stay so..." You trailed your sentence off. He face palmed.
"You can stay one night! And one night only! Until you leave! Understood?!" He glared. You saluted and stood with a straight back.
"Sir, yes, sir!" You joked. He gave you an  unamused look as you put your hand down.
"Just- don't cause me any trouble." He made a shooing motion with his hand and continued to walk down the road.
'It's okay Zim.' You thought. 'I missed you too.'
