Thiam - A Quest for Hope

The Attack

*Liam's POV*
The plan was ready. We were ready. Now we just had to wait. Theo and I were in the basement, waiting for Scott to tell us they're here. I was pacing around the room nervously, overthinking the plan over and over again. There were so many things that could go wrong. I let out a deep sigh, my panic shining right through me. Theo pulled me into his arms, telling me everything was going to be okay. We just had to protect Scott. We could do this, together. 

I've never had a boyfriend before, in fact I've never really desired one until I met Theo. As soon as I saw him, my mind flooded with confusion and lust. I remember I would always get so angry at him and blame him for everything, but that was just me letting out my jealousy and frustration. He would flirt with Malia more often than not, and it just infuriated me. Why not me? Am I not good enough? What have I done wrong? However, everything then quickly changed. I would often noticed Theo looking at me in class, and I would occasionally catch him watching, and his cheeks would fill with his deep, scarlet-red blush, quickly looking away and back to the teacher. He would walk past me in the corridors and "accidentally" bump into me, my pile of books placed in my arms stumbling to floor. He would bend down, pick them all up, and hand them back to me. The final time he did this, I found his phone number scribbled on the back of a piece of his maths homework. We then met up many times, going back to my bed more often than not. Grades just didn't seem like a big deal anymore. We were happy.

"He's just arrived in his van! We better start fighting, Theo!" Scott yelled. Theo bent down and kissed me, and then hurriedly ran over to Scott. Commence the fight.

Theo took a swing at Scott, forcing him to fall backwards into a wall. 

"Is that all you've got?" He taunted. Scott shot his fist into Theo's jaw, but then quickly received a kick in the stomach, forcing him to wince and stumble back.

I could hear Gerard's heartbeat approaching.

"How dare you say that about my boyfriend!" Theo yelled at Scott, slamming him into the wall.

"Only because you talked rubbish about my girlfriend!" Screamed Scott, running his hand along Theo's stomach, then slamming it into him.

Gerard was just around the corner.

Corey hurried to make Scott go invisible, and Theo ran over to me and the stairs. Here goes nothing. In charged Gerard, armed with guns and wolves-bane. He glanced around the room violently, trying to finding Scott. "

I know you're here." He taunted. "I hope you're ready for what I have in stock for you." He laughed. "You don't want to miss this!"

He then sent a bomb filled with wolves-bane flying down towards us.I shoved Theo under me, putting my hands above his head and pushed us close to the ground. I coughed, unable to see or hear. I blacked out.
