I wake up crying and gasping for air, I don't even notice the person next to me.
I turn my head and jump into the persons arms crying into them.
"It's ok," he whispers over and over again, until my breathing becomes steady and I stop shaking.
I look up to meet the eyes of the one and only Corbyn Besson.
"I'm sorry," I cry into him.
"I know," he whispers to me.
He holds me there for a few minutes before I wipe the remaining tears from my eyes.
I look up to meet his grayish blue eyes, comfort washes over me.
After a few seconds I get up and walk to my dads side. I can't even touch him after what I experience in that dreadful dream.
I don't acknowledge Corbyn as he walks behind me.
"We should go," he says as he puts his hand on my shoulder, I can only nod as I turn around and follow him out.
The halls are vacant as me pass through them to the doors.
The walk home is silent, the sound of our footsteps echoes through the streets.
"Thanks," I say as I turn to enter my apartment.
"Can I come in," he says rather fast before I shut the door.
"Sure," I say hesitantly opening the door wider so he can get in. "Do you want anything to eat or drink?"
"No I'm good," he says as he examines my apartment. He takes a seat on the sofa in the family room.
I sit on the chair next to him, we sit in awkward silence until one of us can't hold it anymore, "you have a nice house."
"Thanks," I say as I to look around at it.
"Im sorry," we both say in unison.
"You first," he beets me to it.
"I'm sorry for kissing Daniel, I don't know what happened."
"I'm sorry for blowing up and forcing you secret out of him," he says.
"Can we pretend it never happened?" I ask hopefully.
"Why not."
After that we talk for a few hours about random things. Laughing, at each other's stupidity.
