I knock on the door a few times, but when no one answers I use the key Jack took, to get into Y/N's apartment. She hasn't answered her phone for a couple of days, so I'm checking up on her.

I notice all the lights are off, as I call for her. I get no response, so I make my way to her room. "Y/N," I call quietly, as I push open her door slowly.

"Y/N!" I yell, as I run over to her limp body laying in the middle of the floor. "Oh my god! Please wake up oh my god!" I cry, as I cradle her in my arms.

I turn her over so that I can see her face. Her eyes are red and puffy. I grab my phone, and call 911.

"Hello 911 what's your emergency?"

"It's my friend! She's unconscious, and somethings wrong either eyes," I rant to the lady on the other side of the phone.

"It's ok, stay calm. Can you tell me where you are?"

"Ya I'm in West side apartments um, room 216 on the second floor." I say a little calmer.

"Your friend? Is she breathing?"

I am stunned by these questions, but I check for a pulse anyways, "Um y-ya I t-think so." I stutter.

"Ok, ok good. Help is on the way" she states, "I going to stay on the phone with you until they come. Ok?"

"Ok," I whisper not knowing if she can hear me. I look at her, and think of how long she was alone here.

The lady and I talk a little until the first responders alive.

I can her them barge through the door, and I yell for them. "We're in here!" I yell/cry. They hurry in with a stretcher, and pull her away from me. I sit there in shock as they lift her body onto a stretcher.
As the push her out of the room, I follow. In a trance. I see her hand slip off the stretcher, and hang there limp.

"I'm so sorry," I cry as I they lift her into the ambulance. I am pulled out of my trance by one of the EMTs motioning me to get in. I do. I realize that the lights and sirens are on, and they have attracted a small crowd.

The doors shut, and we are engulfed in silence.
