I remember.

I remember when my mom found out
My dad was cheating on her
With the pretty brunette
that was half his age
She yelled at him saying
"She's the same age as your daughter
What is wrong with you!"
And I'm pretty sure she inhaled the whole box of strong cigarettes outside in the cold weather while sobbing

I remember when my sisters fiancé broke up with her because he found out his ex-girlfriend had moved back into town
She sat in her room everyday
Shielded in blankets
staring at the shattered glass
And torn apart photographs
That were scattered all over the room
While sobbing

I remember when I realized
That no matter how happy I tried to be
I was always sad
I constantly thought that nobody truly loved me or cared about me
Because every night before I fell asleep
Warm tears slid down my face
While I begged god to make
Life better

So I stared outside the window
Wondering why bad stuff always happened to good people
And
Started
Sobbing.
